Very shady and dishonest dealer. Similar to other reviewers, was prequalified and they ran my credit a bunch despite me asking them not to. Illegal? reviewers, was prequalified and they ran my credit a bunch despite me asking them not to. Illegal? More
Contracted a Jeep to me then was called the next day that they sold it. All I got was a “we’re sorry” no follow up to find another vehicle or to make good on their poor customer service they sold it. Don't waste your time -- MILITARY BUYERS BEWARE -- Purchased a new truck here late December 2019 and traded in my old car (registered in Florida). Sales person told me they would mail my Florida plate back to FL DMV. I called a few days later to ensure they actually mailed the plate to FL and was told by several employees "not to worry" and "that it was sent". 34 days later on February 4th I receive a letter from Florida DMV saying the Plate & Registration on my old car was not received and my drivers license would be suspended. I contacted Kearny Mesa and was told my trade-in vehicle was sold to an auction and the plate went with the car. --They sent my license plate to auction but told me they mailed it to the Florida DMV-- On February 11th Kearny Mesa calls me and tells me they found my license plate. When I pick up the plate the next day I ask a sales person at the front desk to speak with a manager about the situation. He then pretends like there aren't any managers on site and says "come back on the weekend, that's when the managers are here". I eventually find two Managers (Pablo and Ryan). Pablo was too busy at his computer to speak with me. Ryan listened to my complaint and could not have cared less about the trouble, stress and $150 drivers license reinstatement fee I owe FL now. Acted like it was my fault. Ryan had nothing to say about the dealership sending my license plate to auction. Don't waste your time here. More
they ripped me off This dealership dumped my car on the street two years after I traded it in. I got notices in the mail to pay tickets on it and by the time I got them This dealership dumped my car on the street two years after I traded it in. I got notices in the mail to pay tickets on it and by the time I got them (I had moved) the car had been towed and accrued $3,000 in storage fees. They admitted to dumping it on the street when they paid the fines on the tickets for me, after prodding from an outside consumer advocate. I have photos of it in their lot in 2017 (from google earth) and it was dumped on the street behind their lot in 2018. Please advise. Thank you, Paul Stravinsky More

Ghost Town Dealership Went down yesterday @ about 11:00am to look at a Jeep Gladiator. There was hardly any customer parking with no customers around. Found two Gladiators Went down yesterday @ about 11:00am to look at a Jeep Gladiator. There was hardly any customer parking with no customers around. Found two Gladiators buried behind some vehicles by the sales office. Spent about 10 minutes looking at them with no soul around. I walked up to the sales office and stuck my head in, a receptionist looked at me and smiled, There was what appeared to be sales people on a couch who looked at me then back down. Went back to look at the Gladiators again. After about 5 more minutes we walked back to our truck with nobody around except for a couple who was detailing a used car. Not that I want to be bombarded with sales folks, but having a Ghost Town dealership is a bit odd as well. End result, they lost a possible sale as we bought a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon from another dealership (Carl Burger Jeep). More
Avoid avoid avoid ******BUYERS BEWARE ***** Please save the hassle and 7 day headache and choose another location to buy your vehicle!!!! I cannot stress this enough t ******BUYERS BEWARE ***** Please save the hassle and 7 day headache and choose another location to buy your vehicle!!!! I cannot stress this enough that if you are a female or even by yourself THEY WILL TRY TO SWINDLE YOU. This isn't my first go around with buying a car, I know the business and knew exactly what I wanted and had the money prior to contacting them. IF YOU DO NOT FINANCE WITH THEM THEY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE A SECOND CLASS CITIZEN. I was quoted a # (w/taxes and fees included) after visiting the dealership and once I had to sign papers and they "found out I wasn't financing with them" (they were told prior to my first visit and pretended that they didn't know) THEY RAISED THE PRICE ALMOST 3K. also, if you have prior financing from your bank THEY WILL STILL RUN YOUR CREDIT, AGAIN, A HARD INQUIRY. (Not all dealerships do this I went to another one and they did not run credit, FYI) We asked to speak with a manager and were told he would be with us shortly, after 20 minutes of waiting we were told he was with a customer and unable to see us (he was in the back not hidden at all joking around with other salesman). ALEXIS THE INTERNET MANAGER needs to work on customer service skills, we were at her desk and She wouldn't even make eye contact with us, didn't speak to us after we KINDLY asked for a manger, and pretended she didn't hear us and kept typing at her computer WHILE WE WERE RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER. Throughout all the mishaps that happened a week prior ie: them selling the car from under us, "losing" the keys when we came to see the car in person, and even giving us a hard time about financing, we still reached out nicely and to close the deal without complaining or making a big deal and we were nothing but accommodating when they mysteriously "lost" the keys to car and didn't know where it was. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE AND AVOID BEING TREATED LIKE ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. We found another dealership 5 minutes after leaving that accommodated our needs. More
? pride in their work Made a reservation to see the Pacifica Hybrid, with several email and phone communications with Anali. I tried to change the appointment time, but nev Made a reservation to see the Pacifica Hybrid, with several email and phone communications with Anali. I tried to change the appointment time, but never got a response. So I showed up at the arranged time, and she wasn't there. Not working that day, in fact. Sat for a while in a worn-out waiting area with my family, while they looked around for the car to test drive. Clearly, they are not keen to impress. Made we worry that if a sale didn't motivate them, then I shudder to think about their quality of service. Alexis came and was great, very helpful in attitude and did the test drive with us. Ultimately, we want a car that's reliable, and service that is even more so. This dealership definitely didn't give me much assurance on the commitment to excellence. More
Avoid! I was pre-approved for financing and had my approval in hand. The floor manager wouldn't give me any information on pricing for a car without running I was pre-approved for financing and had my approval in hand. The floor manager wouldn't give me any information on pricing for a car without running my credit. He offered me a terrible rate- way worse than I had been approved for. He refused to acknowledge or accept my pre-approved financing. He also told me that his 7.8% rate was the best that I could do because of my bad credit. "Maybe come back next year when you have good credit"...... What? I had a 796 credit score.. Also, when we sat down to discuss the pricing of the vehicle, he added $3k to the price for "options it had"..... again.. what? Why would the price go up? I ended up using my bank financing and I bought a car from another dealership. It seemed like the manager thought, since I'm a woman, that I was stupid enough to fall for his lies. I was only stupid for walking into Rancho Chrysler jeep dodge. More
Worst service department! We have bought 2 cars from this dealership. We took our car in for service and had terrible service from our service rider Kai Cabigon and the service manager Allen Bendix. Our car was in for 2 weeks and we never were told what was happening. I had to call multiple times to get any info. Kai sent a uber for me so they could rent me a car. I get there and the service manager tells me in a very arrogant manner that he cant do anything for me and sent me home in a uber. I then didnt get my car for a week and a half later. My service rider never knew what was going on with my car when I would FINALLY get a hold of him. We will never take our car there again and unfortunately never buy there now too. Thats how frustrated we were. More
