I was just there this morning (6/2/22) at 7:45 AM for service on a V51 Recall for my Jeep and want to pass-a-long a "thank you" to Elyas "Ely" Popalto and the rest of the service department. Ely was very service on a V51 Recall for my Jeep and want to pass-a-long a "thank you" to Elyas "Ely" Popalto and the rest of the service department. Ely was very friendly, courteous and professional. He promptly took down my information and he assured me that all would be taken care of. About 12 minutes later I got a text from him saying that if I needed anything or had questions to let him know. My overall experience at Kearny Mesa Dodge Jeep Ram was excellent, thanks again to all; I couldn't be happier. More

I have been going here since I moved to San Diego in 2016. When it was Rancho Jeep I had no problems with the service department. Now that it is Kearny Mesa Jeep it's an absolute disaster!! Made an appointment a month ago for scheduled service to include an oil change and to check and advise on an oil leak. Dropped it off the night before my appointment. Got a call promptly to discuss my service. Told me the new prices for an oil change of $109 and then said to check the oil leak was $190. I agreed to the oil leak check but not the oil change because that was way to high. Then the advisor stated he could maybe have the Jeep back to me in 3 days!! I asked him what the heck would take 3 days to check an oil leak. His response was it will just take that long. I said nope...I'm coming to get the car. When I arrived I met with the advisor again and asked why would it take 3 days when I have an appointment? He stated that they are just backed up. I again stated I had an appointment to which another advisor stated that appointments are only to meet with them!! I stated that was ridiculous, that's like making a doctors appointment to only get told the appointment is to speak with the receptionist! Why the xxxx would I make an appointment to speak with a service advisor??? That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. So basically what that tells me is that instead of taking the time to plan and schedule work they are just keeping cars on ice until they are good and ready. All the while you are without a car. This place is a joke. Stay away!!!!!!! More

This review is based on my experience of buying a used car (2016 Volvo XC60) from Kearny Mesa CDJR. Once I found the vehicle that I was looking for, I contacted the dealer and I was put thru Jeff, a sales car (2016 Volvo XC60) from Kearny Mesa CDJR. Once I found the vehicle that I was looking for, I contacted the dealer and I was put thru Jeff, a salesperson. Jeff answered most of my questions about the vehicle that I was interested in. He followed up with me via text messages with requested pictures and assured me that the vehicle is in good working condition without any issue. I live in Orange county and this dealership is 100 miles away from me. I really wanted to make sure that I have all the info before I drive to make a final deal. After communicating with Jeff, I felt that he is an honest salesperson and I should believe him. I drove to the dealership and he was waiting for me in the parking lot and welcomed me. I took a test drive and vehicle was in great condition as described by Jeff. He worked with me to remove all dealer-added options and I was able to purchase the vehicle with the listed price. As this is a seller’s market, I chose not to bargain further on the listed price. I did all my research and listed price was already 20% below the market for same vehicle, and that was one of the reasons that I drove 100 miles to purchase this used vehicle. Only the suggestion that I have for the dealership is, please see if you can expedite the purchase process, especially if the buyer is paying with cash. I think it took us couple of hours to complete the whole process. BTW they accepted all form of payments – cash/check/credit card. I strongly recommend working with Jeff if you are going to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. More
Jared Pragle was very helpful with advising and checking into my lifetime warranty to help me keep it current. The only issue was having to wait so long for the service appointment.
