I was tired of the run-around so I left a negative review elsewhere and the salesman actually called my spouse at work and went off on an angry rant about it. More
After doing a lot of research about electric cars, my wife and I decided to purchase a Chevy Bolt EV. Next, I researched local Chevy dealers to determine availability of the car we wanted at a price that wife and I decided to purchase a Chevy Bolt EV. Next, I researched local Chevy dealers to determine availability of the car we wanted at a price that didn't seem relatively ridiculous. At around 9 PM on Thursday, I found a great option at Kearny Mesa and started the purchase process on line. I did about all I could do on line and decided to call the dealership the next morning to 9 AM when they open. At 8:15 AM, Hannah called me from Kearny, said the car was definitely available, she had my info, and she was ready to help me get the car. I was at the dealership by 9:30 AM, met up with Hannah, test drove the car, made the deal, and drove it home at 12:20 PM. Hannah, my sales person was phenomenal. Her boss, Gabe, was very pleasant, and unlike other sales managers I've dealt with, he didn't try to up-sell me on anything. He and Hannah even helped insure I got my $500 GM military discount. That was very refreshing. Her financial manager, Ross, was exceptionally effective and efficient as well as friendly and personable. Even the receptionist was remarkably pleasant and friendly. I can honestly say that this was the best new car buying experience of my life, and I've bought at least 10 new cars over the years. Hannah was the real star of my whole experience. If she is any indication of the overall customer service quality of Kearny Mesa Chevrolet, then they will become my favored Chevy dealership in this area. More
The sales consultant, Pedro, was mediocre. He did let my daughter test drive the vehicle before I got there. Even though I was the one purchasing the car, he didn't bother going over the car o He did let my daughter test drive the vehicle before I got there. Even though I was the one purchasing the car, he didn't bother going over the car or features with me. He also kept the key fob with him so we didn't know until after the paperwork was signed that it had a keyless entry, not a passive keyless entry. As for the finance guy Mike, he was in such a rush to get to his nephew's football game that he flew through the paperwork without going over any of it, while talking nonstop about himself and his family. I didn't realize that I had signed a form waiving my option to return the car within 2 days. I would have purchased the option since we were buying a used car as is and, as expected, was a little leary. When my daughter drove the car off the lot, at nighttime, she realized that a couple of options she thought were on the car were not. I called them right away and was told there was nothing they could do. The manager Amanda took 2 days to call. She will talk to them about being more professional in the future. Now I'm struck with a car that is not quite what I wanted. I have bought 4 other used cars in the past half dozen years from other dealships that were very professional and I was happy with each sale. Buyer beware at this dealership! More

Buying a car can be stressful especially with how unfamiliar you are with the process. The team here are experts in their field and genuine. You do not get the typical car salesman vibe. My family went there last week and had a great experience to purchasing a bolt EUV. We really like the car and their services. The sales consultant, Francisco Frausto, is really patient and helpful. He explained about the car in detail, helped us with the test drives, and how to use and set up the car and the necessary apps. They also provided us with a very good price. The car is amazing and the driving experience is great! If anyone is thinking about buying an EV, I highly recommend this place and Francisco. More

I had seen a Chevy Spark at a different San Diego Dealer but Kearney Mesa Chevrolet had a the same model but newer and better conditions. Courtney Johnson made this purchase so easy and friendly.
