She kept updating us on every possible detail through our process by making it a more satisfying experience. Our sales man Frank Torres was very knowledgeable and had a great costumer service. Enjoyable enough to stay for hours. I walked in. Nobody approached me, but that is what I wanted. I wanted to look at the vehicles, get my bearings, and price check certain trucks agains I walked in. Nobody approached me, but that is what I wanted. I wanted to look at the vehicles, get my bearings, and price check certain trucks against others of similar build. As soon as I started looking around for an employee(they knew), someone came up and asked if I need help with something. That level of professionalism and knowledge of how to interact with customers impressed me above all else. I didn't have a million bits of knowledge about "how great our deals are" immediately shoved down my throat was refreshing compared to all the other dealerships I'd been to that day. They weren't trying to get me to buy the truck right off the start. It was all about figuring out which truck would fit me best, what features would be wanted, then price was closer to the end. It was a solid, splendid process. I don't think I wasted a second of time, and that's saying a lot since I spent multiple hours two days in a row to come to a decision and complete the purchase of my new truck. If it wasn't for the fact that not everyone is willing to buy a new vehicle right now, I'd be shoving my coworkers and friends left and right into that dealership. I tried to convince my roommate while we were there to get a new truck with me. All of the personnel on hand were friendly and enjoyable, as well. This was the first time I've been inside a place like this and my first question was from the receptionist if I would like some water. Not someone to sell me a car. Wonderful. More

Rude and Unprofessional company. This is by far the WORST dealership and experience I have EVER had in my life. I'll start with the good (not that there is much). Firstly, my credit i This is by far the WORST dealership and experience I have EVER had in my life. I'll start with the good (not that there is much). Firstly, my credit is not stellar, so I do not expect it to be a smooth sailing to get into a vehicle. So, I applied online and was put in contact with Jenni, after going back and forth about a vehicle I found and wanted we got me approved at $23'998 with $2000 down. I come in the next day (Sunday) and speak to Rick as Jenni was not in that day. We agreed that the finance looked good and I want the vehicle, I sign some paper that appeared to be a "deal sheet" and told them I would be back the next day with a cashier’s check from my credit union, Rick said no problem and I went about my day. The next day I got called into work for an emergency, so I called the dealership and informed them that I won’t be able to make it in that day and can we do Thursday to come in and finish up and take delivery of the vehicle, Rick assured me that won’t be a problem and to have a good day. So, I then find out when I am about to come in that they have sold the vehicle to someone else, this was the first big issue, next come about 20 more....... We try to find another vehicle around the same price etc, then they say they need $4805 down. To cut this review short as It would be another 2 pages this is the basics of what went wrong. 1) Major miscommunication from Rick, Jenni and Amanda 2) Poor Salesmanship 3) Being Lied to. 4) Asked them to run my credit to 4 banks, to this day it is now at 14 hard pulls, when I talk to them about this they laugh and say it’s not possible, I guess myFico is the ones lying then. 5) No customer care given, they messed up, they refuse to admit any kind of fault whatsoever and don't care about making a customer happy. Bottom line, if you want to be messed around like a chimpanzee then this is the place to go, if you want a professional experience I suggest looking elsewhere. More
STAY AWAY We signed the financing paperwork for a vehicle and had it on hold and they sold it to someone else. The customer service here is atrocious. Update We signed the financing paperwork for a vehicle and had it on hold and they sold it to someone else. The customer service here is atrocious. Update: This was the worst experience of my life. Not only did they sell the vehicle to someone else... but they then tried to say we were never approved in the first place. The next day they came back again and said "never mind you WERE approved." Then the next day they again told us we weren't. This went back and forth for about a week. At the end of this... we definitely were approved for that vehicle. They did not have any more of that exact vehicle in stock.l at this location but list 100s of them on their website at other locations. They REFUSED to even cover the transfer fee to have one of those cars brought here after all they put us through. They wanted to put me in an older vehicle that wasn't even the same make or model... and more then doubled the down payment. Then one of their "knowledgeable sales people" people tried to offer us a car that doesn't even exist. It was laughable. This place is a joke with NO customer service skills. More

I did not buy a car on my first visit to Kearny Mesa Chevrolet but still I went home telling my family that it was the best experience I’ve ever had a I did not buy a car on my first visit to Kearny Mesa Chevrolet but still I went home telling my family that it was the best experience I’ve ever had at a dealership. Frank was amazing from the start. He comes off as very kind, friendly and knowledgeable. We spent sometime looking at cars and test drove a few but at the end of the day they didn’t have exactly what I was looking for. Instead of trying to pressure me into something I didn’t really want, Frank and the Finance guy Michael asked me to let them find me my car. They had already been so wonderful, accommodating and truthful that they won my business before they even had a car for me. Over the next 48 hours Frank stayed in touch with me and a car that he thought I would love was on the lot. I came, I saw, I bought. It was perfect! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience during such a stressful time for me. Frank, you are greatly appreciated and highly recommended!!!! More
