Mike explained to me and my wife the reason for the recall from Honda and the steps necessary to correct the issue. I was very pleased with Mike's professionalism on explaining the reason for the recall. He also ask if we need a ride. and we said yes please. We met Rick the driver who was very good and safe driver, always paying attention to the road and making sure we were feeling much better. At 11:30 we received a phone call that some one will be at hour home ready to take us back to pick up the car. It was Rick. All I can say is that you both for the best time and preventing a serious problem More

In general, I had a good experience, but that may have been because I trusted everything they told me and accepted all of their recommendations for service. I always gave them high ratings for their service in all the surveys I was sent. Recently, I took my car there because of a battery issue and even though it wasn't yet the time for a service, I asked for a service which was soon due. I was contacted and was told that I needed an alignment because I had recently changed the tires. I wasn't sure if it was necessary, but because I trusted them, I decided to do it. The service was done and later when I talked to other mechanics and researched on the Internet, I realized it is not necessary after tire change unless you have an issue. After I took the car back, I noticed a new problem that wasn't there before the service. The steering wheel was shaking really bad when braking. I called them and took the car there again. They inspected the car and said that they had already reported that issue to me. What they had reported was slight pulsation, which probably was so mild that I hadn't even noticed, while the pulsation is significant now after the service. I talked to the service representative and the service manager, but they didn't take responsibility for the created (or worsened) issue and said the issue wasn't caused by service. Instead of that, the only solution they offered me was to sell me more services (brake rotor resurfacing, etc.) to resolve an issue which didn't exist before the service. Their only excuse was that they hadn't done anything to the brakes, so they are not responsible for the issue. They didn't seem to care much about the customer experience and inconvenience they had caused. I have lost my trust in Kearny Mesa Acura and will never take my car back there again. More
I was duped. Liars from the sales staff to the director. I was encouraged to turn in my Acura TLX early and lease the new ILX. I would love to see the breakdown on those. Also, Acura Kerney Mesa never paid my new DMV fees. This amounts to about $3K. I have leased Acuras for 9 years. Never had a worse experience. Just hold up to what YOUR salesman told me. More
BATTERY PURCHASE WITH WARRANTY DEFECTIVE IN LESS THAN 1 YEAR My cars battery had been acting up after purchasing from AAA several times, I finally decided to purchase straight from the dealership with the guaran My cars battery had been acting up after purchasing from AAA several times, I finally decided to purchase straight from the dealership with the guarantee that if it had any issues within the warranty period, they would replace it with no questions asked. Turns out, 8 months after purchasing a battery from them for almost $175..,the battery was defective. I've had my regular mechanic check the battery several times and they said, the battery sold to me at the dealership was defective. I called several times to try to get it replaced but they kept telling me that I had to pay $150 upfront to have my battery checked by them although I had full proof of the battery being purchased at Kearny Mesa Acura. Had I known this, I would have just purchased a battery through my AAA again. They do not keep their word and are full of broken promises (they'll tell you all sorts of BS just to avoid replacing defective products sold to consumers) DO NOT BUY or trust this this place. I had been servicing my car here since 2011 when John Bigelow was the service department manager (since he left, the quality of service of this place went down hill) and I most definitely wont be going back. Their customer service is the worst and their prices and quotes are always inconsistent. I wont name the service advisor who usually helps me but he always lied about discounts and prices or saying that they had a special going on but when it comes to paying they say they no longer have the special. Anyways, a year and a few months since the purchase of the battery and nothing was resolved. This is by far the worst and most unethical dealership I've ever been to. I wish they would have replaced my battery and kept their promise. I spent a ton of money bringing my car to this place in the past and will most definitely not be taking my car back. If I could give it negative stars on this review, I would. Oh and no one ever had the courtesy to call me back after calling several times to complain about my battery. Each time I called, I requested to speak to a manager and all they said was that he wasnt available at the moment but I could schedule to bring my car in and they needed $150 upfront to test my batter. Are you kidding me?! This should have been waived since they were the ones that sold me a bad battery. It's been months since my last call and still nothing....I wish they would have at least made an effort to help but no. If your thinking about purchasing parts here, please make sure you are aware of the consequences if they turn out defective. More

It The 2 sales people that I interacted with were unprofessional and not very knowledgeable about the car features, especially the upcoming 2019 RDX. It was clear that they wanted me to purchase the 2018 model even though it was outdated compared to the competition and to their own 2019 model! I was able to find much more information on line. I am not comfortable returning to their dealership. If I decide to buy the 2019 RDX it will be in spite of my experience at this dealership and I will definitely search elsewhere! Very disappointing experience. More

He said his boss wouldn't give him numbers unless I stay for my car to be evaluated. I didn't have time stay any longer so I came back the following weekend and left my car for about a half hour for them to check out/give me numbers. When I got back they had checked out the car but did not have any estimates ready. I then was introduced to the Sales Mgr. who said he needed 5 minutes. Half hour later we still didn't have any numbers and didn't want to wait around anymore so we asked that they be emailed to us. It is now 4 days later and I still don't have any quotes. This is the worst customer service I've experienced with any dealership. I would NOT recommend going to them. More
Bad Service Experience Worst service experience from a dealership, especially it being my first time at this service center. I brought my car in for it's first A1 service, Worst service experience from a dealership, especially it being my first time at this service center. I brought my car in for it's first A1 service, only having 7,000 miles on it. The service consultant asked me if I've been in a collision recently. I was basically in shock when he asked this. I asked what is wrong with my car. And he said that my CV Boot was cracked and that it would cost over $900 for a new CV Boot and axle shaft. He simply advised my husband & me to not drive off the lot that day because we would only be causing more damage to the car. We ended up taking it to a trusted repair place and it wasn't cracked. The clamp was loose. It makes me wonder how the technician didn't check the clamp and just assumed it was cracked. After my follow up call from Acura regarding my service experience, I received a call from Kathy (customer care manager). She wants me to bring my car back in so that another technician can look at the car. More
