I had a wonderful experience with Kayser. I arrived very uneasy about purchasing a different car as I really wanted to pay off the one I had. Though knowing that I have had to fix a lot of the things in th uneasy about purchasing a different car as I really wanted to pay off the one I had. Though knowing that I have had to fix a lot of the things in the past and needed new tires soon... I was burnt out with worrying where I would come up with the money at a minutes notice Tim suggested I try to Lease a new vehicle to relieve my constant stress and have a dependable car. He spent countless hours running number for me over and over to show me how benifical it would be for me. He figured out the current amount I was paying on my older vehicle with high miles compared to all the gas money I would be saving with the new Ford, my payments barely changed! If not actually save me money. And with leasing I don' have to worry about anything breaking. I NEVER thought that being a single mom I would ever be able to afford a brand new car. Thank You Tim for all your hard work. More
Spent a long time searching for the right vehicle and Kayser Ford's pricing drew me in. Test drive was a balances mix of city / highway and lasted long enough to convince me this was the vehicle for me. Kayser Ford's pricing drew me in. Test drive was a balances mix of city / highway and lasted long enough to convince me this was the vehicle for me. Friendly and helpful department. Only downside was that paperwork took a little longer than I would have liked. I drove an hour to get there and would do so again. More
Purchased a 2010 F150 XLT, my experience was great, Ron was awesome to work with. Love the truck, the only thing is, that when i went to switch out the headlight bulbs I noticded that both Head lights whe was awesome to work with. Love the truck, the only thing is, that when i went to switch out the headlight bulbs I noticded that both Head lights where damaged, they both show signs of an impact of some sort. This made me preform a detailed inspection of the rest of the vehicle (way more detailed than I did at the dealership) I also noticed that the pasanger side door appears to have impact damage as well on the inside where it meets the dash. The reason I'm bringing this up is that it appears that the inspection done at the dealership was either not preformed very well or the sales staff were uninformed by the inspectors of the damage. This in no way shifts my opinion of Kayser or Ron, it just means the next time I purchase a vehicle there I'm going to do an extremely detailed inspection. Lots of thanks More
I had a great experience at Kayser Ford. I contacted Tim Freidag their Internet Sals Manager about a 2012 Mustang Boss 302 they had on their lot. Since I live about 100 miles from the dealership, I wanted to work out a deal before I arrived. Tim was great to work with, as we worked out a price for both the Boss as well as my trade all via text and email. When I arrived the car was exactly as described and the deal worked exactly as we had discussed. Also, Tim and his crew are a no pressure sales team, which was very pleasant. I would definitely do business with Kayser Ford again. - Kurt More
Rick Baxter's professionalism, expert knowledge of the 2013 Focus SE and the 2013 Fusion, friendliness, and willingness to give us his time and the best deal possible went a long way towards our both the 2013 Focus SE and the 2013 Fusion, friendliness, and willingness to give us his time and the best deal possible went a long way towards our both buying with Kayser Ford. My husband bought his 2013 Fusion, and a week later, on Wednesday, 3/20/13, he was having his coating applied, and I saw the car of my dreams...the tuxedo black Focus SE. Rick was so helpful, friendly, and sincere, that I ended up buying the Focus even though I wasn't really looking to buy a car! Both my husband and myself feel that we were very well taken care of, and we will be buying our next cars from Kayser, and hopefully, from Rick! More
I needed a new Escape and had looked at several dealerships prior to deciding to go to Kayser. The main reasons were they had by far the best $$ and coupled with the way I was treated sealed the de dealerships prior to deciding to go to Kayser. The main reasons were they had by far the best $$ and coupled with the way I was treated sealed the deal. My purchase was a cash deal and was complicated by the fact it was a company car that had some unusual needs in regards to the title and the fact the car was to be licenced locally but titled out of state. Tom worked out the details and made the purchase of the car easy and uncomplicated (for me at least). Will go back again due to the experience I had. More
I am submitting this review as I feel I was treated with the basic "It's A Woman" mentality. The gentleman I was originally working with, Tim, was taken away due to a family issue which I totally understan the basic "It's A Woman" mentality. The gentleman I was originally working with, Tim, was taken away due to a family issue which I totally understand. I was then passed to a young man who did not know very much about leasing and that I felt was a trainee and just said what he was told to say and had to go and get answers for all the questions I had. He needs to learn which I undestand but he should have had a mentor with him. He told me there were only 4 or 5 color selections available which I have found out was not at all true. Then I worked with the Financial person to complete the transaction. I told him I wanted to set of electronic payment and he said no problem but unfortunately there was. He forgot to send in some of the papers they needed to set up my acct. I contacted him and was told he would get back to me by Thurs. or Friday with a status. Well, it is now Monday, Oct 8th and I have not neard anything fom him. I have now contacted the Finance Manager who is going to talk to him and get back to me.(I hope) I had heard many horror stories about dealing with Kayser but went with them anyway. I will definetaly think twice before dealing with Kayser again. More
Our Expedition blew a cylinder while towing our camper to Wisconsin. We had both(the Expedition and camper) towed to the Kayser Ford dealership. I called ahead to let them know we needed to be towed and coul Wisconsin. We had both(the Expedition and camper) towed to the Kayser Ford dealership. I called ahead to let them know we needed to be towed and could they help or recommend a towing service, and recieved very unhelpful service. Then I asked how late the service dept was open and would it be possible to have it looked at that night. (we were over an hour from home, it was over 100 degree temps with our 3 little kids) I was rudely told it would be less than a 50% chance of it happening. So, we arrived at the dealership, and were told they would look at it by 9pm. (It was 6:30 then) At 9:15 we asked if it had been looked at yet? We were told it was in the garage but it would be a little longer. At 9:45 we asked again. And told the same answer. So, we went to get something out of our camper (which was in the back lot) and saw that the Expedition hadn't even been moved. So, it's now after 10pm. I went in again and was told yes, someone had gone out with a flashlight, figured out what was wrong and the service tech that could fix it would be in on Monday, and it would cost $340. We said ok. Now, we were never offered a rental car, told where we could wait, we were never even offered a drink of water. Monday morning I call the service dept to ask what time we could pick up the Expedition. The tech said no one had even looked at it to diagnose what needs to be done. I explained we were there until 10:30 on Fri, was told the helocoil blew and it could be fixed for $340. He didn't have anything in the computer or paperwork stating this, only that someone was suppose to go and look at it. He calls me back a little while later and says they looked at it, and we can not do the helocoil fix. So, our options our to either put in a new engine, or buy a new truck. (A bit different information from Friday-would have been nice to know this then) So,after speaking with my husband, he calls the Kayser Ford dealership and talks to a Dealer explains the situation (basically 1/2 of our debt is sitting in their service dept and we need a new vehicle ASAP). Deno (the dealer) told him he was going home in about an hour and it would be too hard for him to start looking for a vehicle. WHAT?!?! They basically have us over a barrel and don't want to sell us a new truck?! Luckily, we found an AWESOME dealership in Delevan (Kunes Ford) that bent over backwards helping us. We even tried called Kayser again to get a different dealer on the phone (Russell) to give them the opportunity to sell us something and got the same result. There is NO WAY Kayser Ford is doing that well to give up selling us a BRAND NEW truck. We were given a loaner truck (from Kunes) to go get our camper. As we were about to pull into Kayser Ford, Deno calls and wonders where my husband is and why he hasn't come to look at any vehicles. I explain with the lack of service we had recieved we went elsewhere. He couldn't have cared less that he missed the sale. He said "oh well". Then Kunes Ford in Delevan sent someone up to Madison, to have our old Expedition towed to their dealership. Another man from Kayser Ford called my husband, told him our truck was being towed away. My husband said "yes, I told you guys someone would be picking it up". Then the service tech tells him that we need to settle the bill of $160. Are you kidding me? For what? Looking at the engine with a flashlight? Or being lied to about it already being in the garage? Or maybe it was for the lack of compasion as we were stranded over an hour from home in the heat with our threee little kids? I would NEVER recommend this dealership to ANYONE for their service or sales. HORRIBLE! And the sad thing was it wasn't just one person or one dept that made the experience bad, it was the WHOLE dealership! More
sold us a lemon. We took it back and they tried to make us sound like fools. 1 day after we took it back we had our friend call about the car and they didn't even tell them the problems we had with it. Tim was knowledgable/honest and I felt overall I got a good price on my trade as well as my new vehicle. However the post-sale customer service I have recieved from Tim thus far is poor at best. In the two weeks since I took delivery of my vehicle I have made multiple attemps to contact Tim via e-mail/office phone and cell phone and all correspondence has been unanswered. Also, I spoke to Kayer Ford's General Manager who assured me Tim would answer my questions...no response! I am extremely disastisfied with the customer service I have recieved from Kayser Ford. Do yourself a favor and buy your next vehicle from Bergstrom in Appleton, I wish I had. More
