I wanted to thank Tim Freidag and Nick Douglas for an excellent buying experience I recently had with Kayser Ford. This is my second vehicle I have purchased from Kayser and working with Tim has been a stress free experience both times! Tim is honest and will get you the best deal available. He has a passion for his work and it shows in his relationship with his clients. I also had the opportunity to work with Nick Douglas who was very helpful in keeping the transaction moving forward. Nick also showed me how the workings of my newly leased 2014 Ford Fusion SE. I am very happy with this vehicle and I highly recommend Tim and Nick when purchasing your next Ford. More
I have been bringing in my vehicle to the Quick Change auto service center and the main service garage for 4 years. They are the only ones I have service my Ford Fusion. Bill has always been very helpful and has recommended service when needed. Bill will always set you up with the service you need and not try and up sell you into unneeded work. I have always used Kayser Ford service for my 2009 Ford Fusion. The service is always prompt, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and service manager Tim Douglas is always available to answer any que Fusion. I recently had service done for my Fusion as I noticed a strange noise coming from the back right passenger area of the car. I called and spoke to Tim Douglas, and he and the staff diagnosed the problem quickly. Tim explained all of the parts that were needed, and why they needed to be replaced. I dropped my car off for service a few days later, and was given a ride to work. Tim called me later that afternoon and informed me of all the work that was done. My car was delivered to me, and I am pleased to say that Kayser service once again did an excellent job! My Fusion is running great, and Tim called a few days after the repair to ensure that everything was going well and that the service was done to my satisfaction. I would HIGHLY recommend Tim Douglas and the service team at Kayser. I know that I can count on them to give me fair and honest advice, and that the service they perform will be done correctly. We look forward to using Kayser Ford service again in the future! More
I have credit that is extremely challenged, to put it mildly. Matt got my name from a 3rd party and contacted me the very next business day. Like most people, I work during the day and don't have a private office so talking freely about personal or financial matters is difficult. I never had to tell Matt this. His first contact was email and we did everything that way until I met him in person a couple days later. I really appreciate the way he worked on my behalf and never made me feel bad about my situation. He treated me with great respect and that is priceless! More dealers could use a guy like Matt working for them. They would get a lot more customers! More
Granted I purchased my vehicle from Kayser nearly 4 years ago now, I still think back on my car-buying experience with Tim as the easiest, most stress-free car-buying experience I've ever had. He cares far more about making sure you are driving the right car for you and making sure you are getting the right vehicle on your terms, instead of the stereotypical car salesman approach of "What can I do to get you into this car today?" I go out of my way to tell my friends and family looking for vehicles about the outstanding purchasing experience I had with Tim at Kayser. Tim is definitely focused on turning his clients into lifetime Kayser customers. Additionally, Tim also knows his vehicles very well. One of the biggest turn-offs for me is walking into a dealer and finding that I know more about the car I'm looking at than the salesman I am working with. I talked a lot about past and present Ford vehicles with him and he is incredibly knowledgable about his product. He is outstanding at what he does and I know I'll be back to work with him in the future. More
went to kayser to get an estimate on rust repair and talked to this guy, he didnt seem interested in dealing witht he repairs i wanted to do and didnt make me feel welcome. Also had another dealing with this bodyshop on a relatives car and they did the wrong job and not the one we wanted done, apparently didnt listen.. All my bodyshop work goes to Metro Ford of Madison. Sad part is my family has done business with Kayser for over 20 years. i cant recommend their bodyshop OR sales depts(after getting treated poorly there also) but have a great service dept which i will continue to use More

I went to see Tim Friedag and Nick Douglas because of all the great reviews on Dealerrater.com and I am glad I did. These two guys were open and honest with me through the whole vehicle, purchase and financial decision process and that was important to me. There was no haggling and no pressure. I got to communicate via text and email which really helped when I couldn’t call to talk to them directly. I was able to test drive by myself in the city and the highway so I could compare which vehicle was best for me. I purchased my Ford Edge from Tim and Nick at Kayser Ford Lincoln in Madison 4 months ago and I still think about how great these two guys treated me compared to other dealers I have dealt with in Rock and Dane county. I have told all my friends, family and random people that start up conversations with me in the grocery store about Tim and Nick. I hope Kayser Ford Lincoln in Madison know how much of an asset you are to their company and how big of an impact you make on your customers! It was such a pleasure doing business with Tim and Nick. I highly recommend talking with these guys as they have made a customer for life! More
I tried in vain to schedule service with Kayser Ford. Step 1: Attempt to schedule online. Found a problem with the scheduling grid that wouldn't allow me to select a time/date. Step 2: Call service center and attempt to schedule over the phone. No answer. No ability to leave a message. Step 3: Use online chat to find another way to schedule an appointment. Person running the chat referred me to the online form twice, even after I told her (twice) that I had already tried that and it didn't work. She then asked "anything else I can help you with?". Yes, I still need to schedule an appointment. She took my contact information (no information about what I needed to have done) and told me someone would call me. Two weeks later - no phone call, no contact. Step 4: Never spend another penny on repairs or cars from Kayser Ford. Horrible customer service. More
Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. The commercal service manager Rory is rude and completely unhelpful! He won't return phone calls and if he does it takes him 4-5 days. Been waiting for over a week for him to tell me what radiator hose is on my truck even though he said he would call me the following day. Brought my 2008 F250 6.4l in for warranty work they found a bad radiator hose had damaged my radiator. Told him no temperature light came nor did the gauges show it was running hot! They automatically assume it's negligence on my part and try to charge me $1500+ dollars for the repair. I told them something else is wrong with the truck since I never had a warning that anything was wrong.I bought a 4 year/48000 warranty when I bought the truck. The dealership I bought it at assured me it was a bumper to bumper warranty. Now I'm fighting with Kayser trying to get my truck fixed under the warranty.They've had my truck now for 5 weeks and refuse to do anything to fix the problem. All I want is my truck fixed and back in my possesion. They need to right this situation. Remember Kayser Ford, the customer is ALWAYS RIGHT!!!! More
