First of all, I have been a proud member of the Karp Family for the past 6 years. I previously purchased a SAAB from Karp and through the years have received A+ service in maintaining my vehicle. Howeve Family for the past 6 years. I previously purchased a SAAB from Karp and through the years have received A+ service in maintaining my vehicle. However, after much consideration I just decided to trade in my vehicle for a new model Saab. Although this was a difficult decision because of my attachment to the previous car, I have to say the collaborative effort of Julie Pedretti, David Wells and Audley Bullock were major factors in my decision to upgrade to a newer model vehicle. Julie helped me realize the practicality of transitioning into a newer vehicle as opposed to continuing the expense of maintaining an older vehicle with high mileage and that was out of warranty. After I was introduced to David Wells and Audley Bullock, they showed me how I could get into a newer vehicle at a reasonable price and at an affordable level. The combined effort on the part of the staff was marked with courtesy and professionalism. I did not feel like I was being targeted by the typical "Salesmen Tactics". Rather, they made me feel like we were on the same side of a business partnership with the common goal of solidifying a deal that would be a workable solution for both customer and dealer. I really appreciate the excellent relationship I have obtained with this dealership and now as a proud owner of a new Saab 93, I look ever forward to continuing this partnership for years to come. Many Thanks to the Karp Family! More

This happened on a Thursday and my husband was there previously that Monday, but did not receive the professionalism he deserved from another sale rep that was displayed from Audley. Audley was knowledgeable about the Enclave we was inquiring about and took the time to explain everything to us.All our questions were answered and his full attention was on us that day and we felt comfortable with him. His warm spirit and professionalism made us feel right at home. We also met with Mr Bullock's manager Mr David Wells, who also displayed great kindness and professionalism toward us. We purchased our new 2011 Enclave cxl1 and was very happy with our purchase. We highly recommend Karp Auto to anyone looking to buy a new or used vehicle. Their service is outstanding and very professional.Thank you Mr Bullock and Mr Wells for your outstanding service. Because of the caring and no pressure attitude made us feel comfortable making our decision to purchase our new family vehicle. We are enjoying our new Enclave. Sincerely Mr and Mrs Williams More
Two weeks ago my son and I both wrote comments regarding an experience that we had with Karp over 2 years ago. We were both extremely upset with the way the situation was handled because we had been very l an experience that we had with Karp over 2 years ago. We were both extremely upset with the way the situation was handled because we had been very loyal customers for nearly 20 years. The issues were never resolved and when through the amazing technology we have today we had an outlet for our thoughts and experience we voiced our hurt. There were no expectations and therefore we were absolutely surprised when only a few hours after the posting we received a warm and heartfelt phone call from the General Sales Manager, Tim Gilley. This was a familiar voice that I heard many times over the years. As I had written in my original posting my son and I felt as if we were part of the Karp family. We knew everyone and had become like family. Tim asked us to come in for a meeting to discuss our issues. We had the first meeting last week with David, Ellen and Tim. It was a very emotional and cathartic experience. There were hugs all around and a big welcome home. Today we had another meeting and I am happy to post that all issues were resolved and it felt like we now really did come home. We were greeted with such warm smiles not only by Ellen, Tim and David but by all the other employees who we came to know over the years. They watched my son grow up since we started going there when he was only 3 months old. As he got older he loved cars and couldn't wait until we got to the dealership for service. During my many years of doing business with Karp I was always pleased with the Service department and if ever there was a problem it was immediately resolved. I am happy to say that my son and I are happy to be returning to Karp.. After our meeting today it felt like a great weight was lifted and we truly were home. The best thing that came out of this posting was the most sincere apologies from David, Ellen and Tim. Today, I think that David and Ellen's dad who started this business over 50 years ago would be very proud and truly happy that the motto he had posted so many years ago that our customers are our family was solidified and carried forth. Life is short and sometimes if we just reach out and touch someone good things happen. Karp reached out and today was good!! =) More
Oh boy. Where do I start? My wife and I visited this dealership a couple months ago when looking to lease a Buick Enclave. Plain and simple, it was a bad experience. We went to the showroom on a Sunda dealership a couple months ago when looking to lease a Buick Enclave. Plain and simple, it was a bad experience. We went to the showroom on a Sunday and the place was chaotic. Took 10 minutes of standing around before someone even acknowledged us. We were assigned to a salesperson who knew almost nothing about the vehicle. My wife and I had researched the car for 1 day and knew way more about the features than the salesperson. After the test drive in which none of our questions were answered, we inquired about pricing. The day before we had visited a Buick dealership in Westchester and they quoted us a price of $536/month for a 39 month lease with $3k out of pocket and 15k miles per year for a CXL1 with DVD player. When we told Karp that they laughed at us, with one of the other sales guys saying "You can't get that car for under $600/month...if that's the price I'll go over the bridge and get one myself". Found that insulting. Then I told them that this Westchester dealer was going to order the car from the factory because we had certain option requirements and they didn't have that specific car on the lot. The response at Karp to that was "You'll never get that car. They'll stall you and stall you and eventually try to sell you a car they have on the lot". I was shown this website and told that Karp has high ratings and thus should be trusted. Well, I waited 6 weeks to post this because today I just drove home in my new 2011 Buick Enclave CXL1 with a price of $533 a month (3 dollars LESS than the original price my Westchester dealer quoted). It's the exact car I ordered. It took 1 week longer to arrive than originally thought but well worth the wait. The car is amazing and I'm so happy I didn't go with Karp. More

I am sorry that I never purchased m To whom it may concern, I have passed Karp Buick, Saab, Volvo and Kia on my journeys to work for over 20 years. I am sorry that I never purchased my previous vehicles from them. There was never any pressure. in the past i always dreaded the "shopping for a car experience". I previously leased an Infinity FX35 from Legacy (Atlantic) Infiniti in Lynbrook. That was a horrible experience. Which is why they keep changing their name. Karp has been in business for as long as I can remember and that means A LOT. I have actually recommended them to several friends who are in the market for new cars. As long as the companies they represent keep making quality products, I will never use another dealership. Thanks. More

I have been dealing with Karp Saab Automotive for the past 12 years. This is my forth Saab Convertible and I have always been extremely satisfied with the dealership, the sales associates as well as the past 12 years. This is my forth Saab Convertible and I have always been extremely satisfied with the dealership, the sales associates as well as the service department. This past experience I purchased my car instead of a lease. The sales associate Audley Bullock was very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable about my car and we were able to reach an agreement to the terms of my sale. Audley also spent a large amount of time discussing and instructing myself as well as my partner with the special extras the new car was equipped with. He even programmed my phone to bluetooth which was a huge help. All in all I was extremely satisfied with my experience at Karp Saab and would recommend the dealership as I have in the past. More

Afte Over these many last years I pretty much gave up on GM cars. The last Buick I was involved with was the first shortened model of the Riviera. After that it was mostly Japanese for the quality of workmanship for the price. The cars I seleted were always the reommendations by Motor Trend Magazine and I must admit that I never had any real problems with them. But, the time was ripe to try Buick again due to the recent Motor Trend evaluation of the Lacrosse CLX as compared to the Lexus. I took delivery just a week ago and only have about 70 miles on the odometer. So far so good except for the personalizing some of the controls. My Lexus & Lincoln friends and neighbors are awaiting a show and ride of the Larosse. Some of their lease's will be up in a few months and I'm certain that based on the cars look and my above reasons for going Buick now, they will be investigating. The only thing I cannot answer for them is, will they also make the trip from Brooklyn to Rockville Centre. Audley should be able to handle the traffic if they do. More
