Judy Powell was our Client Service Advisor, and ensured the overall experienc I recently purchased a pre-owned BMW X5 from the Karl Knauz Dealership. Judy Powell was our Client Service Advisor, and ensured the overall experience was well organized for an Out of State Purchase, including the trade of our previous BMW 5 Series. The vehicle was prepped for presentation prior to my arrival. During the presentation, the vehicle was unveiled - quite exciting! Very nice touch! Judy allowed plenty of time for us to test drive the vehicle and answered several questions to help us finalize our decision. Additionally, the Genius Employees, Gift Shop, and Finance Managers were all polite and helpful The dealership is extremely clean and well organized. We were pleased with the service we received and enjoy our new X5. By far the best inventory I have seen at a BMW Dealership. They have every new model represented on the floor. Unethical and arrogant sales employee I've been a service customer of Knauz for over 25 years so I've traveled out-of-the-way to Knauz time and time again because I feel the service depart I've been a service customer of Knauz for over 25 years so I've traveled out-of-the-way to Knauz time and time again because I feel the service department was superior to any others much closer to my residence. FYI: I'm on my fourth BMW and currently considering purchasing my fifth. However, despite checking with Knauz for a price on every prior purchase, I found Knauz to invariably be among the highest and therefore purchased my vehicles elsewhere. A couple of weeks ago I again contacted Knauz for a price on a used 550i and was first contacted by George Greve (who left an almost intelligible message on my answer machine). When I personally visited the sales department the next day at the time I was picking up my 535i from service, Mr. Greve was unavailable and I happened to meet Tisha, who offered to help me instead. Fine. I was eyeing a used 550i being offered by Knauz at approximately $41,500 and test drove it to my satisfaction. Knauz's appraiser appraised my 535i at $30,000. By then Tisha was informed by Mr. Greve that Knauz would lower its price for the 550i to $38,500 firm. At the moment I balked, saying that I wanted to get another appraisal on my 535i, but arranged to meet Tisha at Knauz the following Saturday. Not suprizingly, I acquired a firm appraisal elsewhere of $34,000 -- $4,000 higher than Knauz's! I planned to discuss this difference with Tisha when we met, but would still be willing to accept the $38,500 if Knauz refused to adjust its price any lower. As agreed with Tisha, I phoned him on Saturday to arrange for a time to meet that afternoon. However, Tisha immediately informed me that the car in question had just been sold! I was shocked but ended the call abruptly (rather than embarrassing myself with the less than gentlemanly remarks I was feeling). Summing up, I feel that since Tisha struck me as a pleasant and decent fellow (but apparently under the management of George Greve,) I suspect that it was Mr. Greve who made the sale, despite the fact he knew that negotiation with me was ongoing. I find this behavior ethically and morally wrong and serves to give used car salespersons their generally less than stellar reputations. Frankly, while Mr. Greve may be one of Knauz's highest producing salespersons (?) I want nothing further to do with him or that matter Knauz -- both in future sales as well as service as I do not wish to conduct business with an organization which apparently condones such questionable behavior. More

Purchased a BMW 335i I had the Pleasure of working with Brock when I got to the dealership. Brock Really gave us the full experience. The car had somewhat of an empty carf I had the Pleasure of working with Brock when I got to the dealership. Brock Really gave us the full experience. The car had somewhat of an empty carfax records, and he was able to find and provide me with the full Service record of the car. We had also asked if we could put the car up on the lift to see it underneath, and that is typically not done for customers, but Brock made no fuss about it, he just got the car on the lift and let us look. Lastly, I had set a price with Marek through email, and Brock was well aware of it and honored that price. Overall it was a great experience. I also met Doug, the "finance guy" and he really helped me out with the payments on the car. Everyone at the dealership was really nice, treated us with respect, and truly seemed to care. They wanted to help us achieve buying the car at a fair price. If you're looking to buy a car, I'd recommend Knauz hands down. Great people and great service. More
