My overall experience at Knauz was good not great and here is why. I running late to pick up my new X5. There was 3 deals ahead of me in finance. The finance guy seemed to be a bit overwhelmed due to his language to the other salesman which in my opinion wasn't very professional since a customer like me was in earshot of everything he said. So while I waited patiently Bob took me through the vehicle and made sure I knew everything there was to know about the vehicle. Since I was in a rush to get back home to have dinner with my family Bob was very attentive to the time and kept tabs on finance to make sure I could get out in time. Well it took a couple hours and Bob did a great job keeping me calm and informed. After getting into finance office I was in there less than ten minutes. I just wish I didn't have to wait a couple hours to buy my vehicle and hear the foul language out of the finance office. More

We purchased our 2005 from Knauz. We searched local BMW websites and found the Knauz site the most informative and easiest to use. We picked out a car and then went to the dealership. Judy Powell greeted me and was happy to answer my questions and take me on a test drive. Our new car is a 2014 328xi and we love it. Judy was very helpful during the purchase process and reviewed the vast array of functions the car can perform with my wife. Our old car was quickly appraised and we received a very fair value for trading it in. Judy introduced my wife to the service managers while I completed paperwork with Steve Kwasman. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of completing the paperwork. Although we know the goal of a dealership is to sell cars, everyone we came in contact with seemed to be genuinely interested in us as people. We chose Knauz 8 years ago because we felt welcomed when we walked in and I'm glad to say we felt welcomed this time as well! More
I bought my last BMW @ Knauz in 2003 and had a memorable experience. I went back a few weeks ago fully prepared to see a few certified pre-owned vehicles I was considering. One was sold before I got there that day and the other didn't thrill me. As I was leaving I met Judy Powell where she politely asked me to give her a little time to help me find what I was looking for. She said she was confident she could put me in a new car for what I was willing to spend on a used one. At first I was skeptical but her grace and knowledge convinced me to stay. What do you know...a few hours later I drove off in a NEW 2013 that fit me like a glove. I was nervous since I was really not expecting to make a purchase that day but I felt so comfortable with Judy that all the stars aligned and I did just that. She is a gem. So personable and real - whether you appear to have money or not (a person that could afford Beamers without batting an eye or someone like me, who buying a luxury car is a once in a decade thing) she will treat you with respect and do the very best she can for you. I love my new car and I made a friend. Not many people can say they actually admire the person that sold them their car! Thanks Judy and thanks Knauz! More
First off thank you Robert Geisheker for the excellent CPO purchase experience. I have been looking for a CPO BMW 335i xDrive with a manual transmission and the sport/navigation/premium/cold weather CPO purchase experience. I have been looking for a CPO BMW 335i xDrive with a manual transmission and the sport/navigation/premium/cold weather packages for 2 months and finally found one at Knauz Motors in Lake Bluff, IL. I live in Alaska, so there were a lot of emails/text/phone calls back and forth trying to decide if this was my dream car and worth taking the trip to Illinois to drive it back. Every time I called he was more than happy to talk to me and was very knowledgable on the options on this car. He also worked with John Sherrier to get a me fantastic price and extremely affordable financing option. So I finally made up my mind and decided to fly down to get the car. He picked us up from the airport which saved us a 40+ minute cab ride and when we got to the dealer ship the car was on the showroom floor in pristine condition, it looked brand new (it was a certified preowned). I do not know how they got the car so clean!! Anyway, long story short excellent service, great people all around and when it comes time to get another BMW I will be flying back to Lake Bluff, IL to pick up another one from Knauz Motors. I have found very few, if any, who have the experience, knowledge, personalit numerous sales people who have displayed varying degrees of expertise. I have found very few, if any, who have the experience, knowledge, personality, patience, professionalism and dedication to customer service excellence that Judy possesses! She has been wonderful to work with. I especially appreciate her willingness to listen and understand what I want as a customer. I feel very confident in putting my trust in her as an honest person, who is making every effort to satisfy the customer. Since leasing my new 2011 BMW X5 over three years ago, I have been extremely happy with its performance as well as the service provided by Knauz BMW. While I have not had any major issues, I am confident that Judy would be able to resolve any that may occur. Having been in sales, marketing and customer service in my career with Abbott, I can say with the utmost confidence that the person selling the product determines the success of that business. Anyone who has dealt with Judy knows that she contributes to the success of Knauz BMW through the care she takes in dealing with customers. That’s why I’ve decided to lease another BMW X5 today.
