When I inquired if I could get my oil changed at the promotional rate shown on signs in the garage, the technician first said "yes" since I was gettin When I inquired if I could get my oil changed at the promotional rate shown on signs in the garage, the technician first said "yes" since I was getting the tires rotated also, but then said "no" because the tire rotation was free since we had purchased our tires there, which comes with free lifetime rotations. We could only take advantage of one special, not two. So, I gave him a coupon I had printed off the internet for a discount on the oil change (though not as attractive as the price on the garage signs!) He honored the coupon even though it was for regular oil and my car took synthetic, since he had already said "no" to me on the really cheap oil change special. I thought that was nice of him. The wait was short, only 40 minutes, and I received a complimentary chocolate bar when I checked-out! More

Negligible Covid-19 Considerations This review is largely concerned with Reed Hyundai's response to the Covid-19 pandemic. I took my vehicle in for 60K service this past week. The pr This review is largely concerned with Reed Hyundai's response to the Covid-19 pandemic. I took my vehicle in for 60K service this past week. The previous week, my wife had taken her car in for service to a different dealership a few miles away (where she purchased it), and the experiences between the two were vastly different as it relates to Covid-19 precautions. At Reed Hyundai, the only acknowledgement that was present was a sign in the service area that said there would be no handshakes. Beyond that, I saw some hand sanitizer, but that was all- no one wore face-masks, no plexiglass to separate customers from staff in the cramped customer service area, no acknowledgement that my car interior would be sprayed/sanitized after having technicians in there. In contrast, my wife's experience included multiple visible steps to ensure that care for her health and prevention of vehicle contamination were priorities of her dealership. I don't know if Reed has taken any precautions, but I can say that if any were taken, they were not communicated or displayed to me as the customer. As it relates to the service performed on the car, all maintenance/updates were well executed and I felt informed about all actions taken. In summation, for anyone who is concerned about this pandemic and wishes to be in an environment where clear precautions are being taken to limit contact and prevent the spread of this disease, I cannot recommend Reed Hyundai at this time. More

An oil change took 2 1/2 hours even though I had an appt at 800 and arrived on time. The service guy was very apologetic but was still shocked at how long something do basic could take. I had to ask two different times how much longer it would be and fifteen minutes turned into an eternity. Makes me want to go to jiffy lube in the future but prefer to work with the dealership. May try a different dealership in the future. More
Please improve communication We have bought our 4 cars at this dealership and have done most of our maintenance at this dealership. We had a car that needed an oil change and to be checked out for a knocking sound and power seemed lacking. This did occur during the middle of the stay at home period of time this spring. We were working from home so we did not need the car back quickly but we did not expect it to take 3 weeks. 3 weeks would have been ok if we had gotten updates about what was going on. Instead about every 2 days I called in and usually talked to different people who gave vague updates about looking for the cause of the sound. It wasn't until about 2+ weeks into this period of time that I did complain that we were not getting up dates about what was going on and that it was concerning me that work could potentially get done on this car that I hadn't approved. After complaining, I do feel like the communication improved and we were told after a day or 2 what was wrong and that yes, it was covered by warrenty. Also at this point, we figured out that Felix knew the most about our car and I feel like he tried to correct the previous lack of communication. He also offered a loaner car at this time due to extensive length of service visit. Ultimately, our car is repaired, it sounds and drives fine and it didn't cost us an arm and a leg due to warrenty but I don't think I've ever left a car there and been so absulutely clueless about what was going on. Then when I went to pick it up, after I paid, it took about 10 minutes to bring my car around because they couldn't find the keys. They keys were apparently not put back in the box and I clearly overheard the employees talking and calling each other looking for the keys. I'm not even sure they initially knew exactly where the car was (in the service area still or in the lot?). So I wonder, was the car parked in the lot with a proximity key in the cup holder? Could anyone have walked on to the lot and driven it off? Overall just seemed rather disorganized and not a really confidence building experience. More
