Brought car into dealership after experiencing several electronic bugs. Was told when I made appointment I would have a loaner car available to use that day. When I dropped off the car a loaner car was no electronic bugs. Was told when I made appointment I would have a loaner car available to use that day. A great experience overall My car had been making a weird sound for a few months. I finally had the money to afford the diagnostic. I was concerned they wouldn't be able to hear My car had been making a weird sound for a few months. I finally had the money to afford the diagnostic. I was concerned they wouldn't be able to hear the sound that I had noticed, but they picked up on it right away. Sadly, it turned out to be the compressor for the A/C, and getting it replaced on my car will cost about $1,400. Considering I had to wait to get the money for the diagnostic, the $1,400 will take me a bit to get. However, I was told what to pay attention to, and what to avoid to ensure the issue didn't become worse. The only "issue" I had with my visit was that no one offered to review notes from my previous service visit when I brought up suggestions that were given to me at that time. Specifically, I had been advised my tire tread was low, and that I would need to replace my tires in a few months. But when they checked them during this last visit, they said my tires were in good or great condition and that I didn't need to replace them. Why was I told otherwise during my previous visit? No one knew, and no one offered to look at the notes from my last visit. I found that odd, but I accepted the good news and left it at that. The price for the diagnostic was both understandable and what I had expected. The reason I marked Price at 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the $1,400 price quoted to me for fixing the A/C compressor. That's probably accurate, and might be a good deal, but for me that is quite a lot. More
