I had an 08 Scion Xb for over a year. During that time I realized how much I preferred the design of the 06 model and had slowly been looking into a trade that would make sense to me personally and financia realized how much I preferred the design of the 06 model and had slowly been looking into a trade that would make sense to me personally and financially. By complete luck one random night while searching the web I stumbled upon an 06 Scion Xb with 20K miles over at Shawnee Mission Hyundai. I'm not a phone person so I e-mailed the dealership about the car and immediately heard back from Tracy Bean who was great about having conversation by e-mail until I was comfortable enough to drive over to see the car in person a few days later. When I arrived Tracy was out of the office as she had become sick that day so I was handed over to Rebecca Frederico. She was a Godsend! You talk about the best sales person I have ever come accross. Not only as a sales person but she was an amazing person in general. This was the first time I'd be buying a car without any family at my side giving me financial advice or helping me get the best loan I could get, and Rebecca understood my worries and concerns immediately going into "mother" mode. She was so caring and explained everything to me in great detail on how the process would work. Even when I was hesitant to pull the trigger on the trade because I wanted to talk it over with my parents, she never pressured me to a point that I felt uncomfortable. In fact she let me take the 06 Scion Xb home that night for an extended test drive. As part of the "straight across" trade she was able to include a brand new cruise control installed in the 06 along with touch up body work to my specifications. What was supposed to take almost a week to accomplish, Rebecca was able to make happen in 48 hours for me! In the end she helped me get a great financing plan making my monthly payments over $100 less than I had been paying and helped me get the car that was a perfect fit for me. Even after the deal was done, Rebecca has been in touch with me giving advice on certain add-ons I'm looking to have done in the future as well as keeping me up to date on the pay off of the 08 Scion Xb process. There simply is not enough room in this review to type out how awesome my experience was with Rebecca and Shawnee Mission Hyundai. My girlfriend is now looking to purchase her new car from Rebecca before we move to California next year! I would recommend Rebecca and this dealership to anyone looking for a super comfortable non-pressure style car buying experience. They are willing to help you make a smart decision and truly are looking out for their customers rather than just making a quick sale for themselves. I have bought 3 cars in Kansas now and I can say that quality is certainly rare now days. I only got to know Rebecca for about a full work week but I feel like she is family in a round about way. I know that I will be able to contact her in the future with any questions or needs and she will be right there willing to help. Overall there are not enough stars in this review to really show how great this experience was. These guys are really amazing. Never in my adult life (which numbers OVER 40 years!) have I had customer service like this. bought a lemon of a Hyundai from someone else that wouldn't take gas! These guys figured it out, fixed it and stayed with it every step of the way. I had taken it back to where I bought it, my regular mechanic and no one could fix it. Most of them couldn't even figure out why it kept shutting off after taking about $2 worth of gas. They are kind, courteous and really go the extra mile in a day when customer service has fallen by the wayside. I highly recommend these people and I'll be back when necessary with this car as well as my other one. More
