Eddie made the whole process of buying my new Elantra as painless as buying a new car could be. Prior to being crunched at an intersection, I had a 16 year old Toyota Camry w/ 317,000 miles on it. That's a LOT of miles, I know, but I'd never had any serious problems with it and was very upset to lea year old Toyota Camry w/ 317,000 miles on it. Well, it was time to break down and find something new. I'd been looking around off and on for a few years already. Being a realist, I knew my old car wasn't going to last forever. But really, that Camry was going to be a tough act to follow for any car. Having narrowed my choices down to a "short list" I proceeded to scour the internet for available, and most importantly affordable, options. I found a 2010 Hyundai Elantra at Shawnee Mission Hyundai that was a lovely shade of blue with a sunroof and all the bells and whistles. Hey, a girls allowed to splurge every 16 years or so, right? I called and spoke to Jon who assured me that the car was available and would be ready for a test drive the following morning. Having already done the research (Consumer Report, customer satisfaction, internet comparisons) I was fairly certain this was the type of car I wanted, but wasn't certain I would be buying it from SMH. After showing up, driving the car, and talking to Jon, I decided that this was indeed the place to buy from and proceeded to do just that. They found me acceptable financing even though my credit history is less than perfect and I drove away in my first new car in 16 years! I am exceedingly pleased, both with Jon and with my "new to me" Elantra, and I would highly recommend Shawnee Mission Hyundai to anyone considering a new, or almost new, car. You won't be sorry! Now if the heat would just break so I can enjoy that sunroof ... More
