I contacted Shawnee Mission Hyundai about a new Veloster. I received a reply from Tony Chu and he was great to work with. He forwarded information about what was in stock and what was on order due to arriv I received a reply from Tony Chu and he was great to work with. I got the car I wanted for the price I wanted with the financing that worked for me. Tony was extremely patient thru the whole process and answered all my questions. I had a good first time car buying experience with Bob and Patrick. I have a busy schedule and they were able to work around that and still provide me with all of the information I needed to make a thoug and Patrick. Bob provided real life advice regarding the Sonata I purchased, which was helpful in my decision to purchase a Hyundai over competing brands. The only thing I would have changed would be to have requested extra time to think about the additional options related to the vehicle (overnight) prior to making a final decision. However, Bob and Patrick never rushed me to make a decision and I am very pleased with my purchase. I would recommend the dealership, Bob, and Patrick to anyone looking for a new vehicle. Thanks! Just purchased a new 2012 Hyundai Elantra. I worked with Henry Frazier in New Cars. Henry was a delight to work with. He knew exactly what I was looking for and worked with me to get it. Finance was easy to work with and though I knew an aftermarket warranty would be presented, when I declined there was no further push to buy. I would recommend Henry and the dealership to anyone looking for a great car at a great price. More

If you want to be treated like a number in line, then this place is for you. There is no follow through and no attention to detail. Their attitude seemed upbeat, but that may only be a symptom of dealing this place is for you. There is no follow through and no attention to detail. Their attitude seemed upbeat, but that may only be a symptom of dealing volume. Bob Wright is a nice enough guy but seemed to be unorganized. He forgot where he put important documents, i.e. those containing personal privacy act information, and then failed to let his customers know he had dropped the ball. The title department seemed quick to pass the buck with regards to the aforementioned documentation. It seemed there was a lack of internal communication amongst the different departments. Here's an example. Bob assured me the protection coat we purchased would take two hours. So I scheduled it according with the service department. When I showed up and talked to Scott in service, he told me it will take 4 hours. I told him Bob said two hours and he replied "That is why Bob is in sales". So, I told him of some other concerns I had with my new car and he immediately dismissed them. I told him that I believe it warrants looking into and he replied "that is just how they are designed". Despite my concerns, Scott blew me off and didn't take ownership of his customer's needs. So, what I was then expecting to be a four hour turn around for something originally planned for two hours turned into a six hour wait. Ultimately, Scott didn't look at anything I had concerns with. Eventually, I took my car to the Lawrence Hyundai dealership and their service department took care of the issues. Bottom line is this: don't be fooled by the bells and whistles of a volume dealer. They are simply there to get you in and out without answering all of your questions. Volume is the key and they don't have time give you what you need in way of service. I am disappointed with my experience. More
