I arrived at the dealership knowing I wanted a Sonata Hybrid. As I hadn't visited Shawnee Mission Hyundai before, I checked out their reviews on dealerrater.com and was impressed. To anyone reading this, there is a reason that there are so many positive reviews - these guys really are that good. Long story short - I wound up buying the Sonata from Shawnee Mission Hyundai. Henry and Mike were great to deal with and I HIGHLY recommend them. I drive a ton for my work and I've already put 1000 miles the Sonata in the first couple weeks. Using some mild hyper-miling techniques I'm getting around 50mpg. Love the car, great group of people at the dealership. Very happy buyer here. -Keith in Paola More
Excellent experience from start to finish! I came to the dealership having a good idea of the car I wanted, was greeted by Rico and he proceeded to show me all available options on the lot. He also said if there wasn't a car on the lot that had all of the features I wanted in the color I wanted, he would have one delivered within 24 hours. I could tell from the beginning that Rico was honest, friendly, valued excellent customer service, and was NOT high pressure. I feel like I received a great deal on both the new Sonata and my trade in. I appreciated both Rico's and Michael Ball's willingness to work with me on the deal. I also appreciated Michael's excellent advice regarding financing options. I am extremely satisfied and would recommend these guys and this dealership to anyone. More

Total experience with Rico Clayton and entire staff at Shawnee Mission Hyundai was very good. I had been shopping and test driving several different makes from several different dealerships. I stopped at SMH on my way home from work one evening. Rico greeted me with a smile and handshake as I walked from my truck. I was undecided about vehicle. Rico was great. He was friendly, patient and knowledgable about the cars which helped me see the difference and what would work best for me. He offered to let me take one overnight but a storm was in forecast so I put it off until the weekend. I went back on Saturday and Rico showed me several cars that fit what I was looking for in price and gas mileage. I selected the Elantra to take for test drive. By Monday I knew the Elantra was the car for me. Rico offered me a good deal on my trade ins (car and truck). He even rode home with me to get my truck. Michael Ball made sure I knew all the rebates that were available to me and Chris Miller patiently walked me through the financial portion of the process. Rico and everyone at the dealership were friendly and easy to work with, taking lots of time with me and answering all questions. Total experience was great, even got homemade cookie from receptionist. More
Devin waf friendly and sid not pressure me. The finance department is a different story. I Has to go through the high pressure extra sales pitch twice.
