I cannot begin to express the wonderful experience I had purchasing my new 2013 Sonata. The last time I purchased a brand new car was in 1978. I am not fond of going to a dealship to purchase a car. Salomon was profressional, personalable and very patient and most of all he was NOT pushy. He was very knowledgeable on the product he was selling. Any question I asked him he knew the answer. He asked me a lot of needed questions in order to ensure he was putting me into a vehicle that fit me and was within my budget. I met him about 5-6 weeks ago and in the back of my mind I knew I would be back. He made a HUGE impression! This past Saturday my intent was to test drive a Kia and Honda. After test driving the Kia my partner and I decided to stop and test drive the Sonata one more time. Needless to say, I never made it to the Honda dealership. I have talked to so many who have owned or currently own a Hyundai and they have nothing but good things to say. Brian, my partner, had expressed an interest in one of the Hyundai SUV's. So in a couple of years we will be back. I will encourage friends, who are in the market for a new car, to visit Shawnee Mission Hyundai and come to see him. Rico made our auto trade a great experience. We had not bought a car in more than 10 years so things have really changed a lot! On the financial side Rico went over the interest rate, rebate, and trade-in options so we felt well informed about the process. After the deal was done he even connected my phone with our new car's Bluetooth system and showed me how to work it (I didn't know my old "flip phone" even had that capability). When we had questions about maintenance, Rico took us to the service department to meet the manager and staff who welcomed us as new customers. It was so nice to find that level of committment continue from the time we arrived at the dealership until the time we drove away smiling in our new Sonata. We had planned a weekend of car shopping but Rico "had us at hello"!!! More
