Engine Replacement Fiasco I had to have my engine replaced due to issues with 2012 sonata. Took 3 months to get engine in to make the repair. Then battery was half dead and I I had to have my engine replaced due to issues with 2012 sonata. Took 3 months to get engine in to make the repair. Then battery was half dead and I needed a new one which I was going to be charged for. My problem was that since it took so long to get the engine in, why would did I need to pay for the battery. bad service and no return call from manager John Nelson. I had to recognize problem and they never returned my call. I had to keep initiating issue to them. Would never ever go there again. To much turnover and it speaks for itself. Ok except I asked them to update my nav and they said they c I asked them to update my nav and they said they couldn’t. So I bought a car that cost $80,000 but apparently get service equivalent to a Hyundai Elantra. More
Air Conditioner Leak Service Dept. diagnosed the defect in a line leaking the Freon, Parts Dept. had the part in stock and the repair was completed repair while I waited. Service Dept. diagnosed the defect in a line leaking the Freon, Parts Dept. had the part in stock and the repair was completed repair while I waited. Repair was an expensive one but Reed dealer staff contacted manufacturer and submitted a request for loyal customer assistance. Hyundai came to the party and helped with the expense. As a result we traded in the old car and bought a brand new one. Could not ask for a better dealer for sales, service, and especially the parts department who always have parts in stock for maintenance and repairs. More
