DON'T TRUST PUBLIC SCORE RATINGS We bought a ’24 Telluride one month ago and now that everything is ‘done’ here are just some of the highlights (lowlights): - The parking lot was too congested an Telluride one month ago and now that everything is ‘done’ here are just some of the highlights (lowlights): - The parking lot was too congested and unsafe for pedestrians and driving. - Our salesperson was required to supervise us completing a paper version of a review we’d need to complete online later. - We learned he would only be compensated if we later answered all questions on the online version with perfect scores. - We drove our new SUV home & the total time in the dealership on purchase day was 8 painful hours…much too long. - I started receiving texts & emails a few days later to complete the online survey even though all follow-up items weren’t complete. - I returned to the dealership for the window tint installation but it was not installed properly as described in our agreement. - I completed the online survey with perfect scores—just for our salesperson—but there were no fields to manually enter specific issues as they promised. - The paperwork they mailed for registration hadn’t been notarized even though I signed it electronically with the ‘finance’ person. - Even though their ‘finance’ person said the names could be adjusted later, the tag agency said the registration name had to be exactly what the dealership wrote. - Now we get to pay the state $40 for a modified title so both of us can be added with an ‘OR’ in the names. - Finally, I was ready to install the tag but the salesperson used different screws to install the paper tag that messed up the threads of the inserts. We purchased a car from Kalidy in fall 2022. We were offered $1500 in payment assistance by our sales guy which he had gotten approved by the manager, which we accepted. We were told would be issued via a check sent in the mail with our title. I believe they then swapped out the official paperwork. When we were signing we asked multiple times to be shown the $1500 payment assistance and the finance guy Huy kept reassuring us it was in there and redirecting trying to sell us additional stuff. Eventually we were so anxious to get out of there we just completely forgot to have him show us where the payment was in the contract. We were given one set of keys by the sales guy and told we'd receive the second set with the title as the second sets supposedly weren't kept on site due to salespeople losing them. Three weeks went by and we hadn't received anything in the mail. Must husband called multiple times and was reassured the title and check were on their way. After over a month we finally got the title, but had to pay a late registration fee. My husband called about the missing check and someone in accounting said we'd be getting it. Weeks went by and we hadn't received it. He continued to call until it was finally escalated to Corey Sutter, the GM. Corey was rude and unprofessional. He stated that despite having documentation of the $1500 payment assistance it wasn't "legally binding" and the official contract didn't have anything about it. When my husband asked about the second set of keys Corey attempted to blackmail us into removing a negative review, then proceeded to say they didn't have anything in writing saying they owed us a second set of keys! We didn't know we needed to?! I do not recommend trusting this business, and if you do choose to buy a car here make sure you read every single line of your contract and that EVERY single promise they make, no matter how simple it may seem, is included in the sales contract. I for one will never be shopping with Kalidy Kia again. More
We have done business with Kalidy Kia for many years. We’ve purchased multiple new and used vehicles from them. They have always gone above and beyond, to get us into the vehicles we wanted. If we ever had any issues with our vehicles, they took care of the issue promptly and accurately. They are extremely responsive, and professional in any dealings we’ve had with them. I wish I could give this dealership 0 stars. I was in the market for a 2023 Kia Carnival EX. I placed a deposit in mid January with Kalidy. The originally told me it would be delivered on 2/2. I was in the market for a 2023 Kia Carnival EX. I placed a deposit in mid January with Kalidy. The originally told me it would be delivered on 2/2. That was quickly pushed back to 2/12. After that date passed, the dealership essentially went no contact with me. Each time I called, I was sent to a voicemail and a random person would call me back days later to give me some random excuse as to why the vehicle I put a down payment on was not yet available. I expressed multiple times to them that waiting for delivery was not an issue for me, but that the lack of communication was an issue. I was finally put in touch with the manager, Jordan, who expressed his apologies, and promised to remain in constant contact with me. Jordan then told me (over a month after I placed my deposit) that the car I originally placed a deposit on had been sold out from underneath me. I told Jordan I understood that this was not their fault, but that I was upset that this had not been communicated to me sooner. Jordan promised to continue his search for the vehicle I wanted and was going to call me the following day by 6pm. The following day, what do you know? No contact. I called the dealership again the following day and spoke with a salesperson named Jordan, who started to slander “Bob Moore Kia” as the dealership who sold the car out from underneath me. I then called Bob Moore who stated they never received anything from Kalidy regarding a vehicle. When I asked the sales person Jordan about this, she told me that was not the truth, and that a request had been sent. I asked for a copy of the paperwork that was sent to Bob Moore, and she said she would send it to me. (she never sent it) The following day I reached out again to speak with the manager, Jordan. He went on his rant once again about how another dealership had sold the car out from under me, blah blah blah, that dealership is so terrible. So I told Jordan that I had spoken with Bob Moore and explained what they said to me. He quickly back peddled and denied that the request was made with that dealership. He said that it was actually a dealership in Beaumont, TX named Classic Kia. Once again I asked for a copy of the paperwork making this request. Once again I was told Kalidy would send it to me, and once again I never received it. It’s very clear to me that Kalidy never requested this vehicle for me. I did call Classic Kia, who was more than willing to help me in my vehicle search. They were able to get me the exact make and model I was looking for, at less than what Kalidy was going to sell it to me for, gave me more for my trade in, AND delivered it to me for free. ALL BEFORE KALIDY COULD EVEN CALL ME BACK. The ONLY positive experience I had with Kalidy was the great referral they gave me to another dealership. STEER CLEAR of this dealership. More
