WATCH FOR PRICE HONESTY! I WAS INTERESTED IN BUYING A NEW 2024 KIA TELLURIDE FROM KIA OF JACKSON. IN TALKING TO TWO DIFFERENT SALES PEOPLE, I WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAD A $3,000 I WAS INTERESTED IN BUYING A NEW 2024 KIA TELLURIDE FROM KIA OF JACKSON. IN TALKING TO TWO DIFFERENT SALES PEOPLE, I WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAD A $3,000 MINIMUM TRADE-IN ALLOWANCE PROMOTION. SO, I ASKED THE FIRST AGENT FOR DETAILS AND FOR SOME REASON HE COULD NOT CLEARLY EXPLAIN HOW THAT WORKED. THE MSRP OF THE CAR I WAS INTERESED IN WAS $42,980 SO IT WOULD SEEM ONE COULD GET $3000 OFF THAT MSRP. “JOE”, THE FIRST AGENT SAID THAT THE MSRP PRICE WAS A SPECIAL INTERNET PRICE AND I WOULD NOT BE ENTITLED TO ANY FURTHER PROMOTION. (SO MSRP MUST BE “SPECIAL PRICING”! …WHAT A DEAL). A FEW DAYS LATER I CALLED KIA OF JACKSON AGAIN TO LEARN EXACTLY WHAT THE $3000 MINIMUM TRADE DEAL WOULD ACTUALLY BE. THIS TIME I TALKED TO AGENT “RIVER”. SHE ALSO HAD A DIFICULT TIME MAKING ME UNDERSTAND HOW THIS PROMOTION WORKED BUT FINALLY SAID I WOULD GET $3000 OFF THE PRICE THE CAR WAS ON THE LOT…“THE LOT PRICE”. OK THEN I ASKED WHAT IS THE “LOT PRICE” FOR THIS CAR. SHE LOOKED IT UP AND SAID IT WAS $44,480 ($1500 ABOVE MSRP!) SHE CONFIRMED THAT I COULD THUS GET THE CAR FOR $41,480 ($44,480 - $3000) PLUS TAX & FEES. I TOLD RIVER TO PLEASE EMAIL ME THE WINDOW STICKER ETC. I SUBSEQUENTLY GOT HER EMAIL AND I WAS SURPRISED WITH A NEW LOT PRICE…THE MESSAGE SAID “…The lot price of the vehicle will be $45,980.00.”! SO, WHEN I WAS PLANNING TO EXERCISE THE $3000 MINIMUM TRADE-IN PROMOTION THE PRICE OF MY CAR INCREASED AND SO IT ENDED UP GETTING CHANGED TO EXACTLE $3000 HIGHER THAN THE MSRP. I THINK MOST PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS WOULD AGREE WITH ME THAT THIS KIA OF JACKSON PLACE WOULD BE A GOOD ONE TO AVOID. More
Our Subaru of Ann Arbor shopping experience was an absolute nightmare. We were left feeling completely disenchanted with the whole car-buying process. We knew we could never set foot in that dealership again. However, our quest for a new car was not yet over. So, the very next day, we set out on a mission to find our dream vehicle. Our first stop was KIA of Jackson. As soon as we test drove the 2023 KIA Seltos, we knew we had found a winner. This car had everything we were looking for - great price, spaciousness, and comfort. We left KIA of Jackson to explore a few other dealerships, but nothing could match the feeling we had driving that KIA Seltos. Without hesitation, we returned to KIA of Jackson to seal the deal with Jerry Marshall. The staff at KIA of Jackson were simply amazing. Unlike our previous experience, they didn't try to deceive us with double talk or manipulate us with lies. They didn't push us to buy a bogus lifetime warranty or mess with our financing. Instead, they went above and beyond to get us the best possible deal, better than our own bank could offer us. Their service department was knowledgeable and always ready to help. They truly made the car-buying experience enjoyable again. We left KIA of Jackson feeling grateful and satisfied. They turned a horrendous shopping experience into a fantastic one. From now on, we will always go to KIA of Jackson first when looking to purchase a car. We want to extend a huge thank you to KIA of Jackson, especially to Jetty Marshall, for making this process easy and enjoyable. This place is give car dealerships the worse name even down to the sales manager. Listen to there commercial on the used car side. You go there and run your credit and get approval. The TV add say $3k minimum for trade-in; so John Doe shows up with a $200 car and he gets $3,000. My wife goes in with a 2013 Kia, in very good condition, offered $7,500 at several other dealers, and Ki shows up with a $200 car and he gets $3,000. My wife goes in with a 2013 Kia, in very good condition, offered $7,500 at several other dealers, and Kia of Jackson gives her $6,000 for it. My thought is if John Doe gets $2,800 more than his car is worth, why does my wife get $1,500 LESS than the value of her car. Oh, and don’t even think about believing the 0% interest deal. My credit score is over 800 and we didn’t qualify for that. More

The manager said something about their being a mistake because certain incentives cant be combined, yada, yada, yada. Okay fine, maybe the salesperson made a mistake but that mistake was the sole reason I came into the establishment. At least try to meet me in the middle as you messed up, not me (even an apology would have been nice). I was a long time customer there but this interaction has swayed me to become loyal elsewhere. Buyer Beware I have a lease agreement with KIA stating the amount I would have to pay if I decided to purchase the vehicle at lease end. It specifically states $xx,xxx.xx and a purchase option fee of N/A. They want to add an additional $500. to do the paperwork!! N/A must mean whatever we decide to charge you!! This is the email I got from the salesman (cut and paste from my email).............................................................. Us doing the paperwork is the reason for the $500 fee. You will need to call Kia and they can instruct you where to send your payment and then you will need to go to Secretary of State after getting proof of payoff from Kia so you can take care of the title work with the state, then you will have to contact your insurance company letting them know your car is paid off and you will need to take the the paperwork form the state showing your cars paid off or you can come to see me at Kia and we can do all this for you for $500. We were very disrespected and offended the way we were treated by not only the sales woman but the manager on duty wasn't willing to help either. Lack of Intelligence I don't even know where to start other than they know nothing about cars. 1) I want new rims for my 2017 Kia Sportage. I am getting conflicting inform I don't even know where to start other than they know nothing about cars. 1) I want new rims for my 2017 Kia Sportage. I am getting conflicting information from two well known tire dealers about the offset of my rim. I called Kia Service who was unable to tell me the allotted offset for my vehicle. I was transferred to the Parts department who didn't even know what an offset was. 2) I brought my car in for a recall and requested that they look into why it feels like a ball rolling around under the drivers seat. Three times they kept trying to tell me it's a rattle from either the rear view mirror or the charm that I have on my gear shift. I explained to them multiple times that it is not a rattle it is a feeling of something moving in the seat. I told them to take it for a test drive and turn the corner and they will feel it shift. Needless to say they believe that if I ride with the technician I will be able to help diagnose the vehicle. I'd like to know how I am supposed to determine what the technician does or does not feel. Seriously hire some intelligent, skilled mechanics and services technicians. If it weren't for the warranty I would take the car to a reputable mechanic with common sense. More
