We owned two 2008 Scion xD's which we absolutely loved, but with the birth of our third child, I am impressed with Joyce Koons Buick GMC (JKB GMC)! We owned two 2008 Scion xD's which we absolutely loved, but with the birth of our third child, we needed to up-size at least one vehicle. We had been reading reviews on family-sized vehicles for 3 months, and test-driving vehicles for over a month of weekends. We did our research - we read Consumer Reports, Consumer Guide Automotive, Edmunds, Car and Driver, US News Rankings and Reviews, several blogs and not-so-well-known car sites, and talked to everyone we knew who had a family sized vehicle to get ratings and opinions from them. Through several member-buying services (BJs, Costco, USAA, and Navy Federal Credit Union) I secured quotes, and through other sites (Kelly Blue Book, NADA, Edmunds, and Truecar.com), I researched the value and cost of all of the vehicles we were considering. I submitted dozens of online requests for quotes for "Internet Pricing." A few car dealers did not honor their Internet quotes once we spoke on the phone and in one incident, once we traveled to the dealership - I have already reviewed one of them separately, and will review the others shortly. Through test-driving, we narrowed the field down to the Chevy Traverse, GMC Acadia, Buick Enclave, Toyota Sequoia and the lone mini-van hold-out, the Toyota Sienna. Ultimately, we liked the ride, fit, and feel of the 2011 Acadia the best. After sending an email to several dealerships about my disappointment with a few other unnamed dealerships that had pledged to abide by the Internet Pricing but did not, I got a call from Patrick Bryant at JKB GMC. He asked what I was looking for specifically in a 2011 Acadia, and I told him. He said he had what I wanted on the lot, and gave me a price quote for an Acadia that was a previous program vehicle that was GM Factory Certified, with 16,000 miles on it. His quote sounded too good to be true, but we made an appointment for a test drive the following morning. My wife and I had no intention of buying the morning we showed up for the appointment to go see the 2011 Acadia SLT2 at JKB GMC - we hadn't even thought to bring the checkbook for our down payment! But true to his word, Patrick had the truck waiting, warmed up, and ready for a test drive. Gary Johnson, a genuine and warmhearted man, was our Sales Consultant. He gave us the keys and after putting the plate on the truck, told us to enjoy our ride and to take as long as we wanted. In the meantime, the dealership appraised one of our 2008 Scion xD's for trade-in. We both liked the Acadia and struck a deal based on the previously quoted price from Patrick, which was - in all honesty - thousands less than everyone else, including off-lease program vehicles from Enterprise. JKB GMC was generous with their offer for our trade-in, especially considering our son had ripped the fabric on the back of the front passenger's seat. We got nearly what Edmunds said our car would be worth. Of course, we sat through the obligatory sales pitch for fabric guard, undercoating, etc., but even that experience wasn't unpleasant. Finally, on to the finance department and Ronnie Jones. This man sat patiently OUTSIDE the room while my wife and I had one final and rather lengthy discussion about our financing options. When we were through, Ronnie came back in and explained everything on the contract, and advised us that many things that other dealerships had tried to sell us in the past were simply unnecessary. At any point in this process with JKB GMC, there was absolutely no pressure put on us to buy, and we even had lengthy and very casual and down-to-earth conversations with both Patrick and Gary throughout the transaction process. I definitely recommend and will return to JKB GMC in the future! More
I had been looking for a white Enclave new with no nav or tv just kind of basic inside. I ended up purchasing a 2011 used Acadia that had everything I was looking for and the color was perfect. After coming home something was still bugging me and it was the fact that I wanted an Enclave from the get go and I was willing to get a front wheel drive because it was better on gas. I called the dealership within 42 hours and told the GM that I just wasn't happy and he said "Oh, we have a seven day return policy and I could'nt believe it. I told him I just had my heart set on an Enclave and he worked with me. It's nice to go into a place and not get taken advantage of for being a woman. I brought my husband back with me the second time and he was amazed. Patrick was willing to make it happen and Vince was so patient with me returning the other vehicle. I would recommend the dealership to all our friends. Thank you! More

Andy Orevetz is very knowledgeable in every detail from my Yukon Denali to the last detail of the sale; this really helped me understand everything about the Denali. One of the biggest reasons was that this dealership prides itself on being in the top 5% of having a price on the car which is researched to "beat" competitors and you getting a deal!, bottom line approach. The General Sales Manager is Pat Bryant and he will do his best to work with you on your new or used car. I would highly recommend this dealership. More

We had went to a few dealers in the area (Ford, Honda,GMC, etc) and upon arrival at Joyce Koons Buick GMC noticed immediately that the prices on the car already beat bottomline of other dealers. I spoke with Pat and let him know what we were looking for, the bottomline and within an hour had a new vehicle. My wife and I spent no more than two hours on the lot including the test drive. I am sure this experience cannot be beat by any surrounding dealership. The whole experience, can you say "Priceless"! If you are tired of the norm and want a good vehicle, great deal without any headaches then my recommendation is to go to Joyce Koons Buick GMC and ask for Patrick. More

The attention I was given by Wade Randall and Patrick Bryant with Joyce Koon's in Manassas was excellent and customer oriented. Their friendly and no pressure approach was a nice change from what I had received from Koons in Tysons where the salesman commentedd that he did not feel like I was serious about purchasing a vehicle and the manager gave me the impression that I was doing him a favor by being there. Needless to say I will NEVER go back there. I received a price from another dealership and was hoping that Joyce Koons would be able to match the price. Patrick indicated that he could match the price. Even though Joyce Koons GMC was the furthest dealership from my house the customer service that I received from them was the deciding factor in our purchase. I would highly recommend to anyone shopping for a new or used car to try Joyce Koons GMC for a truly customer service oriented dealership. More

The dealership has really nice employees who are really well informed on cars and if anything take a trip check it out and decide for yourself. They don't pressure you and if your finances are limited see what they can do. Give this dealership a chance and you may just drive away like us... happy with our purchase! More

Pat and Charles gave us the best car dealership experience we have ever had. They found a car that met our needs from a dealer out of state, sold it to us at a very good price, provided us a fair experience we have ever had. They found a car that met our needs from a dealer out of state, sold it to us at a very good price, provided us a fair market value for our trade-in and then drove the new car to our home when it was delivered. They also took the time to hook up the headphones, connect the bluetooth and synchronize the garage door opener! This was first class service all the way! I should also add that the paperwork was processed in record time, I didn't experience any high pressure sales techniques to buy add ons and we were able to get in out in record time. I would highly recommend Pat and Charles to anyone who asks. More
