I showed up to the dealership with high hopes to purchase the GMC Acadia that I had been looking at for quite some time. Prior to arriving I had called just to be sure there were some cars on the lot and sp the GMC Acadia that I had been looking at for quite some time. Prior to arriving I had called just to be sure there were some cars on the lot and spoke to Matt Barthold who very graciously gave me a bunch of information to quickly lore me to the dealership where I arrived 30 minutes later. Matt showed me a bunch of options and helped me narrow in on what I really wanted. He then introduced me to Patrick who knew I was determined to make the numbers work. Within minutes he made me a great offer that I was not able to walk away from. There are not too many times where you can walk out of a dealership and really feel like you made a good deal for yourself and your family, but this was definitely one of them. All the staff I dealt with treated me and my family with ultimate respect and I would send anyone who asked back to Koons Manassas to purhcase a car. Everyone we ran accross was fabulous! I went to this dealer after a rather bad experience at Ourisman in Alexandria. The sales staff was very courteous and understanding as to what I wanted in a vehicle. Charles Carlson was very helpful and courteous, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone in search of a new car. Ronnie Jones worked very hard to ensure that we were able to reap all of the benefits of being in the military. The manager on duty, Patrick, came by to introduce himself and ensure we were treated with exceptional service. The service department was able to get us in the next day to have the parking sensors be bought installed. Overall, this was the best experience I have had buying a vehicle. More
When I recently started looking to purchase a new vehicle, I was skeptical of all dealerships and felt I could not trust anyone after a rough experience with another dealership many years ago. I came into the dealership knowing exactly what vehicle I wanted and the details I wanted on it and I did not want more or less. Matt took me on the test drive and didn’t seem too overly terrified by my rookie SUV driving-nerves of steel. He and Pat then tried to locate a vehicle with the exact specs I wanted, but since no exact matches could be found within a reasonable distance, we then discussed placing a factory order. I did my due diligence and continued to talk to other dealers to make sure I was getting the best deal possible for the vehicle I wanted, but returned shortly after realizing that none of the other local dealers could beat Pat’s offers for my new truck. After being told I wanted to place the factory order, Pat immediately placed my order with GM. He was very helpful during the production phase when I was looking for order updates. The vehicle arrived earlier than expected and was exactly what I wanted. The whole ordering process was easy and pleasant. Pat and Matt did a great job completing the deal when we came to pick up our new Acadia. It was the smoothest vehicle purchase we have been through and the deals and prices we were initially promised were kept. They really seemed to be trying to give us the best possible deal they could and were looking out for our best interests and they used every route possible to save us money along the way. The other staff members we dealt with at the dealership were also great. Misty was helpful understanding options we had and their service program and never made us feel pressured to buy anything. Tim handled our finance and made things very easy and gave suggestions to help us save a little more money. This dealership has changed my attitude about buying a new car and I couldn’t be happier with my choice of vehicle and dealership. I never felt pressured to buy more than I wanted or less than my ideal vehicle. When my perfect car couldn’t be found, they didn’t waste any time getting me what I wanted and kept all promises. I definitely recommend anyone looking for a new GMC,Buick,or Honda visit Joyce Koons. Other dealerships might offer better deals initially, but Joyce Koons is the dealership that is honest and gives you the best, stress-free deal from the beginning without all the annoying fine print, hassles, and haggling. There was no pressure in making any decision. Also I mentioned couple of things I will like to have fix while the vehicle is under warranty and he made me to believe that all will be taken care of. Therefore I have no problem reccomending his service to anyone. Yes I will purchased another vehicle from this company. Well I did take the car back to the service department and have the lights and the gas lid repaired however the shaking on the steering did not stop and the service department it could be the tires, I would think that since the car is 100% covered for parts and labour that the service department would replace the fault and satisfy our relationship,now I have doubts. Am I being unrealistic. I took the car to the Jaguer dealer and the vibration has stop. I know I will not be visiting service dept of joyce koons buick anymore, they could have had my business. More

A front bumper parking lens had to be replaced because it had a crack in the lens from some jackwit breaking it and leaving without leaving a note. The lens cost me $95! And I was gouged $11.95 to change just three back-up bulbs. The exploitive charges infuriate me. While waiting for the lens to arrive, I went to the Koons Honda dealership to see about trading my Buick on a Honda. When I bought the 2006 LaCrosse CX, I let finance manager Tim Rowan railroad me into accepting all sorts of extra protections that increased my monthly payments--on top of the 17.9 percent usurious gouge loan rate because my credit score sucked canal water. My credit score was low because of a situation beyond my control. The combination of my financial situation was such that I couldn't trade for (((ANY))) Honda on the Koons of Manassas lot. All in all, I will kiss the devil's (if there were such a beast) tail before I will ever trade cars again with Koons of Manassas or any of the Koons dealerships in the whole Northern Virginia-Washington, D.C., region..
