All was good as usual with my experience at Koons Manassas except for one thing. When I got in my car I noticed 2 empty but dirty food containers on the passenger seat. As I was driving away I then noticed a black grease mark on the passenger seat also. I did not go back to Koons to tell them as I did not want to get into rush hour traffic again. This was my first ever experience of this type going to them. More

I did some research of the GMC Acadias and narrowed down to Koons and Route One Buick GMC. Heather was my initial contact and she reached out on Saturday, April 16th. I made an appointment for 2pm the next day on Sunday. Unfortunately when I arrived neither Heather nor Patrick were there that day. So I was first turned off that I made an appointment and drove 19 miles to a dealership for an appointment and neither person was there to greet me and no notification prior that they wouldn't be there that day. Frank Thomas ended up being my sales rep and he showed me the Mocha metallic GMC Acadia that I wanted to look at. Frank did a decent job and Ronnie was pleasant in financing. I do feel that the price was way above what I wanted to pay and there wasn't any real deal that I was given. I wanted to have my payments no more than $700 and due to the interest rate, I am paying $850 per month. I will refinance in a year when I've built additional credit. I also took my Acadia in a week later for the paint protectant and interior coating. I was informed later that I was ripped off. I paid $669 when my friends said I shouldn't have paid more than a couple hundred. I'm disappointed that I was taken advantage of as far as pricing was concerned. More
I called first before I came in to make sure that there would be enough time to get my truck serviced. As soon as I walked in, the service guy took care of me. It was my first time coming to Koons for a service on my truck. I had printed some of the online coupons (GREAT IDEA!!) and was able to use them so I kept my cost down. The whole thing took about an hour or so and that was it. I appreciated the quick turn around on my truck and because of that, I didn't have to get up early on Saturday morning....a very unexpected surprise. Thanks guys. JB More
I do not like to be a negative person and complain but this is my second negative review and it appears that all Koons cares about is that they have a good review. Unfortunately, I get the run-around and the stall tactics and I feel this will continue until my extended warranty will be expired and then I am on my own with my own problem. I could easily sue for breech in warranty. I do not want to go that route but I feel they are leaving me no choice. I purchased a warranty through Koons GMC and the extended warranty. I continue to faithfully make my payments on a lemon car. They have their money so really what incentive do they have to make this situation right with me (other than my negative review). I wonder how they would feel if "Seven On Your Side" news media would like to hear my situation and help me get this resolved. I am promised someone will contact me back to work at what is in MY best interest but just empty promises AGAIN. More
Kevin is always a delight to work with, he always makes sure that my vehicle is checked and serviced. I never have any doubts that all service required will be done quickly and correctly. I am not as familar with the sales department, BUT if they do half as good a job as the service department then you have an excellent dealership. More
had many items serviced on my GMC. charged for tire rotation which includes tire pressure check. when I received my car back all tires are at different levels (from 31 to 38 psi)and computer was not r rotation which includes tire pressure check. when I received my car back all tires are at different levels (from 31 to 38 psi)and computer was not reset with tires being rotated. now my tire location/pressure for that location read wrong on the infomation panel. When I called with my concern I mentione that it was more convenient for me to bring my car in on a Monday or Wednesday. They immediately were able to get me on the next Monday. I arrived to drop the car.I was met by the service person who was very polite. The dealer arranged for a shuttle service for me and I was able to get home and back to work in in timely manner. I was called during the time they had my car to let me know what the problem was and what they would be doing to fix it and that the work required was still under warranty. When the service was completed on my car. I received a call from the employee who informed me that the work was complete. I called the shuttle service to pick me up and bring me to my car the gentleman was polite on the phone and throughout the time I was in the car. Upon entering the cashier office I was met by a young lady who was very friendly and polite. She provided me my service receipt and offered me a complementary car wash. I thought that was very nice. The young man that brought my car to me was polite and conscientious of my vehicle. I have to say that over all I had a great experience during this visit and have had a good experience at most of my visits for service on my vehicle. I feel relaxed when i have to have my vehicle serviced at the Joyce Koons, because I know that they are thorough in the work they do, and they always handle you as if you are priority. That is very important to me when I am paying for service. I had two visits to the Joyce Koons within 2 weeks and both times I received excellent service. Once was a no charge and the other I just had an oil change tire rotation and some work under warranty. I was only paying of the oil change and tire rotation, but the service and atttention I received was as if I was spending alot of money. I will recommend this dealership to all my friends and family for either sale or service. More
I had a great experience at Koons and one of the biggest reasons why was the fact that Steve Hughes didn't pressure me in any way. I didn't hear any stupid lines like " what do I have to do to get you in this vehicle", I hate that stuff. I highly reccomend Koons GMC Buick in Manassas. I am excited to use Koons for all of my service work on my new pickup and my Acadia. More
