After dealing with Toyota and Mitsubishi I can finally say I had a nice experie Can you honestly say you have an nice experience in a car dealership? After dealing with Toyota and Mitsubishi I can finally say I had a nice experience at Joyce Honda. My last experience was a nightmare and I thought I was never going to be able to trust another dealership. I ended up with a car which original price was 15k and ended up paying 30k and no coverage at all from them and 17% APR. My credit is not the best but it sure is not the worst. I admit not reading the fine print and so on and let the "salesman" pressure me into buying the car. I showed up to Joyce looking for an SUV as the car I had was no longer comfortable/convenient for my family. NJ law on car seats has just changed as of Sept 1 2015 and I needed something where my 1 yrld was comfortable rear facing until she is at least 40lbs/2 yrs old. I walked in and asked for Bernardo (who was referred to me) and I tell you... I almost cry to see how amazing he is... Not the typical salesman who only wants to sale you car at the highest APR possible. I did not feel pressure a bit nor was he pushy or tried to screw me over.... He was kind, nice and did the best he could to give me the best deal possible. I walked out with a Honda CR-V $0 down, incredible APR and affordable monthly payments. (Plus insurance bumper to bumper and Gap Insurance) He was able to give us top dollar for my no longer convenient car. He understood exactly what my family needed. I highly recommend anyone to please check them out before you try any other place. If you are car shopping I assure you once you meet Bernardo "BJ" ( Hector and the nice guy who's name didn't get at the back of the front door, I think he is a manager) you will no longer have to waste any time anywhere else. Buying your next car does no longer have to be a nightmare... Go over there, pick up the car you want, tell Bernardo what can you afford a month and let him work his magic... I promise you will walk out with the car you had your eye on and the payment you wanted... If not lower!!!! After meeting with Steve Owusu, taking a test drive, walking the lot on a Sunday, and doing some research, we came in on a Friday, and met with Jon (40+ years working with Joyce). Always dread the negotiations parts of buying a vehicle, but they accepted our offer straight up, and gave us a fair price for our trade-in! Only downer, was the "pushing" of the extended warranty. We don't abuse our vehicles, and service religiously, so relying on Honda reputation for building quality vehicles! So far, @300 miles on the vehicle, and no a problem. The car is pure joy to drive! Miracle Workers! My son saved his money for two years and purchased a car from Thrift Auto in Mtn Lks. We decided it was the wrong car for him and went back to get a different one. Thrift was closed down by the state. We then went to Joyce Honda and traded it in for a better car for him. When we got home with the new (used) car we received a call from Joyce Honda asking us to come back. They showed us that the car we bought from Thrift was basically only worth parts. They took us to their bodywork shop and we were told it was undrivable. The car's frame was cut and unrepairable among many other problems. This team of Joyce Honda employees understanding the loss he was going to incur and worked for hours to find a vehicle for him. He is now in a safe 2013 Honda Accord! This team went above and beyond anything we expected, they are true professionals! Their compassion, integrity and true caring did not go unnoticed! ThankYou!! More
