Very Bad. I went there for Oil change and car inspaction for Honda Odissy and Honda Accord. They sugested me to go for 30000 miles major sevice and I was end up with another big problem car battery change w for Honda Odissy and Honda Accord. They sugested me to go for 30000 miles major sevice and I was end up with another big problem car battery change which was almost new (one year old Honda Battery) and In my other honda accord car after they checked, had issued the all ok in inspaction and after a week 2007 Honda Accord (27000 mile) has started a transmission oil leakage problem and they changed two hoss pipes for tansmission fluid supply. No one can imagine in such a new Honda car, this kind of problem is possible. I lost my all trust and they are big lier. I just wanted to come out with whatever is happend it was just a bad dream. Never go there. My both 2007 model Honda Oddesy and Honda Accord car I went just for oil change and they misleaded us and made around over $650.00 plus... Not happy at all... Never go there. More
I had the worst experience with these guys. When you want to buy a car from them they will talk to you like your best friend. Once you buy they dont know you. They never return your calls or even speak to yo to buy a car from them they will talk to you like your best friend. Once you buy they dont know you. They never return your calls or even speak to you properly even if you visit them. All they do is cheating. Beware of them. More
Was very pleased with service and price of my new Accord. They made it very easy and I don't know about cars and they took time to help me and find me a great car. I would recommend the Honda Accord to any They made it very easy and I don't know about cars and they took time to help me and find me a great car. I would recommend the Honda Accord to anyone. I had a Ford Fusion for a 3 year lease and I can see already that this Accord is so much better. I was also able to get into a lease on the Accord that was lease a month and I even got 15,000 miles per year. More
At the time of the sale, Mr. Alin Hanja informed me that the dealer would pickup the cost of transferring my current plates onto my new 2009 CRV. I asked him was he sure about that, since I am from another the dealer would pickup the cost of transferring my current plates onto my new 2009 CRV. I asked him was he sure about that, since I am from another state (PA). He told not to worry about the cost. He proceeded to tell me that the forms required to get the plates and title done were just a formally. I asked him about the cost outlined in the forms and he told me that I should disregard the cost. When I went to pickup my registration, I was informed that I need to pay the $75.00 fee. I informed the cashier rep that I was told by Mr. Alin Hanja that I would not be charged the fee. After a few exchange of words, the fee was dropped to $32.00. Mr. Alin Hanja looked at me and lied to my face and informed me that we never had any conversation over the registration and plate transfer fees. I escalated the issue to sales manager and this was a total waste of my time. The manager acted like I was bothering him over a $32.00 fee. More
I went in to Joyce Honda skeptical as years back I had a "not so pleasant" experience. Long story short I was in the market for an '09 Element EX AWD and had been to a number of Honda dealers in NJ (includ "not so pleasant" experience. Long story short I was in the market for an '09 Element EX AWD and had been to a number of Honda dealers in NJ (including Madison Honda & Sussex Honda). I was trading an '07 Dodge vehicle with low miles and it was like new. Privately I could have sold for $17-$18k realistically and multiple Dodge dealers had quoted me $14-$14.5k and told me to hold on to it since they couldn't come down in the prices in addition to the trade. I am a realistic person so when I am in the market for a car I do my research up front, have the figures that work for me in mind and that's what I present to the dealer. In my experience a good dealer won't lowball you and try and squeeze extra cash out of you, if the deal that you present is realistic, they'll work with you. In this case that is exactly what Joyce Honda did. They confirmed my $14k-$14.5k estimate on trade AND presented me an offer on the new vehicle BELOW INVOICE. While I understands the 09s will soon be coming off the lot to make room for 2010s, the other dealerships were telling me that they couldn't knock a penny off the MSRP due to a low inventory (no kidding, it's almost 2010 I can't imagine why you would be low on 2009s; who the heck charges a premium because a model year is going out?). Anyway, once we agreed upon the price it was on to the finance department. I wish I had taken a card as the woman that I worked with was phenominal. I had researched the current rates offered at banks in the area, as well as my credit union and she was able to match the best rate through Honda Finance (VERY convenient, having financed through Honda before I was more than happy to do so again). Lesson learned here is NOT to judge a dealership by a bad experience. That bad experience more times than not is due to a bad salesperson. I have no doubt that people have had these bad experiences at Joyce, however, my advice to them is to give benefit of the doubt to the other fine people that do this for a living very well and treat their customers with the respect that they deserve. I will do business with Joyce again based on this experience, they have earned a new customer. More
I have had a problem with my vehicle and have tried to reach the General Manager, Larry Swanson and he never returns my calls. He ignores me, he seemed so eager to help me once before and now that I boug reach the General Manager, Larry Swanson and he never returns my calls. He ignores me, he seemed so eager to help me once before and now that I bought a car he acts as if I do not exist. The whole dealersip is a joke. Since I was there about an hour I had to use the bathroom. The bathroom had one stall and looked like it was from the 40s. I am very disappointed with this place and will take my business somewhere else. Buyer Beware!!! More

Joyce Honda in Denville, N.J. has some very capable and personable people on its staff -- very competent and accomodating, and in at least one case, a graduate of a top-tier university. This was my first personable people on its staff -- very competent and accomodating, and in at least one case, a graduate of a top-tier university. This was my first new-car buying experience, so I may have over-prepared by poring through the Consumer Reports' on-line database. But the staff seems to respect diligence on the part of a buyer, and agreed to a price on a sought-after model that was $1,600 under MSRP. It will be helpful to ask for a price quote via Internet, and, if you are financing, to have a prime credit rating. I couldn't have wished for a more gratifying encounter with the world of new cars and the people who sell them. More

Price was right when I bought a new 2005 CRV. However, part of the sales pitch was that a loaner car would be available when we needed service. We have had a recurring problem with brake lights coming on part of the sales pitch was that a loaner car would be available when we needed service. We have had a recurring problem with brake lights coming on, and this time when I called to schedule service they said they now only offer rentals rather than loaners. To their credit, they made an exception for me but loaner cars are not available on short notice, so I would have to drive with a possible brake problem for a week. More
