Mario Dilorio was the main reason I purchased my car through Joyce Honda. I dislike the new car buying experience and have no problem walking out of a showroom if I don't like the salesperson, even if through Joyce Honda. From the moment we met Mario, he was just the right combination of friendliness, professional and trustworthiness. We didn't feel pressured to buy a vehicle, and Mario gave us all the information we needed to make a decision up front. I kept waiting to be hit with hidden fees, issues with my trade-in or other suprises, but there weren't any. I would definitely recommend Mario! The person who handled the business end of the sale was also friendly, professional and easy to work with, sorry I can't remember his name. Two other advantages for using Joyce Honda. They have many vehicles in stock so there are many to choose from so the purchase can be made quickly, and because of the volume, prices are very competitive. More

I never felt like I was just a sale to them...my safety and budget they worked well with and even worked along side me with a small bump I had in my credit score that I had resolved months before. We are enjoying many of the features of our "certified" 2010 Odyssey just purchased from Joyce. But we have some things that were not repaired during the certification process. 1) We quickl "certified" 2010 Odyssey just purchased from Joyce. But we have some things that were not repaired during the certification process. 1) We quickly noticed when driving into the sunglare that the windshield is badly pitted by stones and in fact has a traveling crack on passenger side and a second pit on the driver's side that penetrate the outer glass. These defects were unnoticed until sunglare illuminated them. The car has only been driven a few miles since we bought it and never behind a truck or even on the highway. Hence I can assure you the pits and cracks were there before our purchase. I will want the windshield replaced with original equipment having the SAME exact tinting, both in density and color, and will want to verify such before its installation. 2) The XM radio only receives the default free stations. I don’t think we can turn on "free" reception for the next 3 months. I think Joyce has to enable the "free" reception of "all" stations for 3 months. 3) I appreciate the three keys received, but find none of the 3 to be valet keys as stated on the certification. 4) The transmission shifts with jerking. Is that the way a Honda Odyssey normally works. On the Chevrolet, it was easily made to shift smoothly by a simple adjustment. I would like verification by Joyce Motors whether the car shifting correctly and we simply "have to get used to it." I don’t know how well it shifts at high speeds, our experience so far has been in town, where shifting is occurring below 45 mph. 5) I checked the brake shoes this morning, after seeing that other cerified work was not up to par, and find the shoes are far less than 50% of thickness as requeired on a pre-owned certified car. 6) We paid about $2,000 more than Honda's blue book value and even then find that not all repairs were done as required for a certified vehicle. 7) This is my second attempt to get the repairs done as per a cerified vehicle. How do we get these defects repaired? More

After my Dodge Caravan was declared a total loss in an accident on March 8th, my husband and I needed to purchase a new vehicle for me. I had wanted a Honda Odyssey back when we settled for the Caravan and my husband and I did a tremendous amount of research on local Honda dealers for days and days. I really relied on the reviews I read here and we went into Joyce Honda on March 16th to see about purchasing. I was hopeful, but always cautious as until now every car dealership I have experienced personally has been a bit cold and clinical and I was leery. I could not have been more wrong. From the moment we walked into the used car showroom and the Manager greeted us we felt very comfortable and welcomed. Art Blenner was the salesman we were introduced to and he even went out of his way to include our daughter in the courtesies and hellos. In asking me what I was looking for he was very knowledgable about the stock on hand and within a few moments we were sitting in a 2010 Odyssey. He had me test drive it to their Rockaway lot to look at another model and we did not even drive the other one, we were in love. Not only was the car exactly what we wanted, but it was a much higher trim than we expected to find a good deal on and the deal they made us was outstanding!! Bill Lally quickly and professionally handled the financing and we were extremely happy with his work and the rate he got for us at a well known bank. I would highly recommend Joyce Honda as they were friendly, knowledgable, well priced and even spent time teaching me about all the bells and whistles on my new vehicle. I will definitely go back when it is time for our daughter to drive, as well as when I am again in the car market. More
The sales process and pricing were good, although getting through finance was a tad slow. Jennifer Outen and Matt Wicksness were helpful and pleasant to deal with! This was my first new car purchase in 16 years. It was then my job to go to the Honda dealer and test drive the pilot. When I got there I was introduced to Larry Swanson, the VP General Manager of the store. I was so blessed to meet him. He was patient with me and answered all my questions. Even though he knew I was not going to buy that day without my husband, he spent a lot of time with me going over all the wonderful things about the car, about the financing options, and took me for a generous test drive. I was so impressed with Larry's honesty and geniune care and he never pressured me. He was so pleasant. His price for the car was better than others as well. After we purchased the car, I went to Joyce Honda to pick up my new car and I met Joe DePalma and Jack Stewart. Joe went over the details of the papers with me and Jack spent a lot of time going over the details of the car inside and out and training me how to use the navigation computer. He was very knowledgable and a great teacher. It was a great experience to deal with these three men at Joyce Honda. I highly recommend them. More

I'm SO happy that Mario Dilorio helped us with our purchase—he had great information, was kind and funny, and we never once felt like were pressured or "being sold." Because of our experience with Mario, we were able to consider our purchase objectively, without feeling rushed or obligated. I'm sure the rest of the people at the dealership are great, but if you're looking for a low-intensity car buying experience, Mario's your guy. More
