I was referred to Joseph Airport Toyota/Scion by the USAA Auto Circle purchasing program. Walt Weber was the first of three dealerships to call and email me. He was friendly and acknowledged the discounted Auto Circle purchasing program. Walt Weber was the first of three dealerships to call and email me. He was friendly and acknowledged the discounted price I had been given. If I had not received an unbelievable alternative price, I would have purchased from Joseph Airport Toyota and Walt Weber. My interactions were friendly, professional and personal. On the basis of my interactions, I highly recommend this dealership! More

I didn't want to hassle on the price, I just wanted a good price from the beginning. From start to finish Jamie was very good to me and treated me with respect. Before going to Airport Toyota I was at Richmond Toyota to see what kind of prices they had. Richmond Toyota was absolutly a bunch of jerks and it made for a horrible experience. They wanted me to sign a blank paper before they even put a price on it which is rediculous. So when I finally went to Airport Toyota they treated me well and with respect. More

He is excellent at working with customes, is a person of integrity and extremely personable. All of our interactions, up until the actual purchase, were by phone or email and I was fully confident that when I arrived at the dealership to pick up the car, there would not be any glitches...and there weren't. The price he committed for my trade-in was met, etc. Even after the sale, James has been in contact to make sure we are fully satisfied. The next time I am in the market to purchase a new car, I will return to Joseph Airport Toyota because of James. More
The internet ad for the 2007 Tundra Limited stock #P00993A is false advertising. It plainly stated the truck has "no signs or smells that this vehicle was ever smoked in and it really does still look new" and the used car manager has been driving it as a demo for 3 months and smoking like a freight train. The stench is ridiculous. He put 3,000 miles on it to boot, so it actually has over 13,000 now, which means he put on 1/3 as many miles as the previous owner did in 2 years. It has peeling paint on the front bumper that they offered to paint over..so hardly looks new and will probably peel again...but that is not the half of it. They claim the truck is discounted from a $30,000 price to the $25,990 (but it was never advertised at $30K because they "wanted to keep it") and when asked to come down from the advertised price to $24K the manager was very rude with a "HAVE A NICE DAY & THANKS FOR STOPPING BY" comment to push us out the door. Wow...I am still reeling at the crude rudeness of that man...and he is the manager??? I would think there could be a more professional way to handle an offer. More

Firs I love my new truck. I have only one point of disappointment in the purchase of my 2010, regular cab Toyota Tacoma. I will get to in a moment. First, let it be known that price was my over-riding concern. And, on price, Joseph Airport Toyota delivered; so I likely would have gone with the Tacoma anyway. But the fact that I found out about my particular issue AFTER the purchase of my Toyota, rather than before, resulted in a disappointment that soured me somewhat on the overall experience and brought down my evaluated scores. The sales person, Mike Morand, was helpful without being pushy. I liked his style and would recommend him to anyone interested in buying a Toyota. I do not really blame him over the issue, for my request was new to him and, apparently, somewhat novel as well. I wanted to know how much it would cost to have the dealer install cruise control in the Toyota Tacoma regular cab. I asked about this at the time of purchase. To Mike's credit, he told me that, while he did not know, he would find that out for me and let me know later. I was pretty well set on the Tacoma so I went ahead and bought the vehicle, never suspecting that cruise control would be a problem. As it turns out, Toyota does not install cruise control on regular cabs at any price. It is simply not an option for that low end, base model of truck. After-market cruise units are available, and I will have one installed, but they are mechanical, clunky and inelegant compared to the integrated systems available on the higher end models. The failure of the dealership to educate their dealers on the necessities of which options are and are not available was and is the only blemish on the transaction. I am as much at fault here as the dealership is, for I purchased the truck on the mere assumption that cruise would be available as an added option. (What auto-maker doesn't offer cruise? Well, Toyota, apparently.) Never make assumptions. Bottom line: Would I go with Joseph Airport Toyota again, if I had it to do over? Well, yes. I probably would. They did not jerk me around on price. That is worth a lot more in my book than any cruise control. More
Below is a memo I sent to Joseph Airport Toyota. I have not deleted it as I feel it has merrit. What I do want the readers to know is that Christian Hahn, the General Manager, contacted me the NEXT DAY and not deleted it as I feel it has merrit. What I do want the readers to know is that Christian Hahn, the General Manager, contacted me the NEXT DAY and apologized for the inconvenience and explained that he felt there was such a need to contact the customers, that at that time,he had not thought of us who were not on the recall list. I appreciate his urgency, honesty and apology. Rodger To whom might make an improvement, Feb.10.2010 This memo is in response to your rating request. We set up an appointment for our RAV4 RECALL. We delivered the vehicle to Vandalia from Sidney at 4:45pm on Feb 10th. We were promptly ushered into the service area and had a short 5 min. wait. We were then asked for our name, address, year and mileage. After bringing up the vin number on your computer, we were told that our RAV was not on the recall list and that we could go. NOW !!! --- 1) This vehicle was bought from YOU ! 2) We called and asked about the recall - No questions asked ! 3) YOU called back and We set up the appointment. No questions asked. With this in mind, Why wasn't the above information obtained BEFORE we spent our time, vehicle wear & tear(we took a stone chip or salt chip on the hood on the way down) and gas in this weather, to travel to Vandalia -- ONLY to be told we didn't have to come. You not only wasted our time, but someone who needed to be in there lost out. This could all have been averted! Straight out -- YOU BLEW IT Rodger More

Darrell worked hard remotely to meet my needs, regarding a 2009 Toyota Yaris selection. When I arrived in Dayton to pickup my vehicle he was there and helped expedite the entire process, even when there was an intial miscommunication on the specific model (I believe I had entered 2 separate requests for pricing purposes, but was only interested in the sedan). Darrell worked to make the shift happen. I am very appreciative. Since, I am very satisfied with my Yaris. I live and work in Columbus, Ohio. More
