BEWARE OF THIS DEALER AT ALL COST! I was in the market for a 2019 used Nissan Altima SL. I located one on this dealers lot, after several phone calls and text with Justin, we agreed on a price of $23,000 total after all dealer fees including doc and tax. Justin not only left me a voicemail saying the total out the door price of $23,000 was accepted by his manager, he also texted it to me as well. having both a verbal communication from him and a written one I start my 1 hour commute to the dealer following a terrible storm in my area. when I am only about 10 minutes away Justin phones to say he made a mistake and the taxes were figured wrong and it is totally his fault , and the car would now be $23,500. he refused to say anything other than to repeat over and over it was his fault, but I would have to pay the difference. After a long drive in a heavily storm damaged area, since I was already almost there, I decided to continue to the dealership and try to work it out. I was not happy, but mistakes do happen. I fully expected at the very least for the sales manager or Justin to say they would split the difference of their mistake and offer the car for $23,250. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN! They were not going to budge even though the mistake was theirs. I went ahead and looked at the car since they had it out front. the car is a gray 2019 Nissan Altima SL , and as of the date of this review is still sitting on the lot there. it has a clean Carfax, however it was clearly damaged , had overspray all down the left side, around doors, all 4 wheels had large curb rash, and the drivers door did not seal properly on the edge where the hinges are, the metal had been bent outwards, as if something had been caught in the door as it was trying to close, or it had been pulled out by catching it on something, there were dents all in the trunk lid that looked like hail damage and the chrome trim along the bottom of the windows on drivers side had several dents. This was not a great example of a clean Carfax car. Clearly it had been in something and was damaged, repainted (badly). I pointed this all out to the sales manager and Justin. Both agreed it had been most likely in an accident that wasn't reported to insurance and repaired. Both said they had no knowledge of it. Perhaps they didn't, whos to say? However, I drove to your lot on the promise of a car that was free of body damage for an agreed upon price. you then raise the price, and refuse to change your standing on that even after you see the car is damaged? I fail to see why a car dealer, would change the agreed upon price, then refuse to reconsider after they see how much damage there is to the car they are trying to sell you. While the sales manager stepped away, Justin got out his phone and located another 2019 Nissan Altima SL, said it was on another lot and he would go see which lot so I could go look at it instead, still a jones lot, so not a competitor. I asked him not to go inside to see until the sales manager came back out to me because I knew once they were inside together the sales manager would instruct him to tell me the other car was unavailable to prevent me from going to a different lot. He assured me he would not. Justin went back inside, came out and said oh, the other car has been sold, his sales manager came out and said "did Justin tell you the other car was sold?" JUST AS I KNEW THEY WOULD. The other lot is owned by Jones, however they still compete within the company for sales. I left and called the Chevrolet lot where the other car was located, and the sales manager there says the car I want to see is at the Nissan lot I just left in the service dept for a recall, and he would call to get it back for me to purchase. He calls them, speaks to the same sales manager I just left and calls me back saying the car could not be repaired and they were returning it to the auction they bought it from. ALL not true. The next day the Chevrolet lot calls me and says " Guess what, the Altima just showed back up at our lot!" they now want me to come see it. I never did. I think the Chevrolet lot just got caught up in the web of lies started by the Nissan lot in Savannah. Why would I EVER want to do any business with a dealer that is so full of untruths and shady business practices? Did I mention that I have bought two new vehicles from them, and my family (Mom) has also bought two, and that I have personally sent over 7 of my friends there and they purchased, never once did I ask for a bird dog fee, or any type of compensation because I was just sending family and friends to a place I felt comfortable with. I knew and fully expected them to make a profit on every deal, both on cars and service. I even expect a little white lie to some degree, but this was out and out wrong. I was LIED to, I felt baited to come in so they could switch the price and I felt trapped because they kept inventory from their other lot locked down so I couldn't see it, I have since purchased my 2019 Altima SL, it has 19k miles on it, is flawless, no scratches, just like new. AND I PAID $18,400 plus tax for a total of $19,688 from their competitor, another Nissan Dealer. So the line that Justin said to me at the end of our failed meeting that "Jones has the monopoly in this area" holds some truth, they do, but there are other Nissan dealers not owned by Jones, north, south, east, and west of Savannah. I recommend ANY of them. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH JONES NISSAN. More
