santa fe buying experience. mike gerkin was awesome-- caring, professional, no pressure. the tone changed after the deal was done, and other folks moved in to handle financing, a mike gerkin was awesome-- caring, professional, no pressure. the tone changed after the deal was done, and other folks moved in to handle financing, and to discuss warranty/protection options. tone went from professionalism w/mike, to " hucksterism and cuteness " as well as a touch of arrogance on the part of those who followed him. also-- no brochures or sales literature available. this was unfathomable to me. we were also dealing w/jones kia and jones subaru. both places had plenty of sales literature, which were packed w/very helpful info. I had to go o-line to look up postage stamp sized color pics. had to travel to bowie to see the color we were interested in. finally, both the tail gate window and windshield were very dirty on the inside-- streaky and filmy. had to clean them when I got home. would give gerkin my unqualified recommendation. rest of the experience-- not so much !! More

Good Cars. Average Purchase Experience. It was okay. I got what I wanted but I've had slightly better experiences with Toyota and Honda. Tom Potter is a good sales guy but do your research because he didn't know everything about the products (but most of it). He doesn't pressure you that much so that made the process easier. Be careful because internet prices are no where near the real price...read the fine print. Yet Toyota and Honda are upfront with their prices when Hyundai isn't. Tsk Tsk.... Jen Pagotto tried to kiss up to us to much but we were prepared and didn't care. Good cars but the building itself wasn't as nice of a dealership as many others in the area. Felt lower quality. Anyway, pretty good experience but beware it doesn't seem the cars come with windshield washer fluid. More
