My Focus broke on the way to vacation and was towed to Jones Ford. Josh Clay in the service department went out of his way to get our car in the shop and fixed in record time. My daughters Ford Edge was inspected in Pa and required a ty rod and sway bar the day before visiting us in Calabash,NC. She called me minutes after leaving and said there was a noise when she pulled out bu ty rod and sway bar the day before visiting us in Calabash,NC. She called me minutes after leaving and said there was a noise when she pulled out but went away after gaining speed. She got here, thank goodness and we called Jones Ford and spoke to service manager Kevin McFadden. She said to bring it in and he would look at it. He quoted a fee for diagnostic and a called me later that same day to say car was done and the sway bar was loose. He tightened and test drive and said it was fine. He charged me LESS than the diagnostic quote. We just moved here from Pa and I have found our automotive service garage in Jones Ford! Kevin is an outstanding guy and represents the dealership with high character and honesty! Trading in my MKX soon and will be dealing with Jone Ford in the future on purchase as well. Bad service I took my 2013 Ford Fusion in for a 100,000 miles transmission service. Once I picked my car up 50 miles later the transmission lost all fluid and ove I took my 2013 Ford Fusion in for a 100,000 miles transmission service. Dont buy a car from them I bought a 2012 ford focus on March 28,2019.Two weeks later i started experiencing a jerk followed by alot of startling while driving.I contacted Ford I bought a 2012 ford focus on March 28,2019.Two weeks later i started experiencing a jerk followed by alot of startling while driving.I contacted Ford and told them of the problem.They told me it's the battery so i went out and purchased two different batteries.So not the problem!meanwhile,the car stopped driving in reverse.I called them again and even went tho visit the sale rep. that sold me the car,he was never available!the next morning my car wouldn't crank at all!I decided enough is enough I spent $6,132 on this vehicle they claimed only had one owner and no accidents.I towed thecar back too them wanting answer Thursday (7/6 i believe) they didn't attempt y to look at my car till that following Tuesday.they called and said it was the transmission control module and I'm responsible for the repairs because the warranty just ran out also the part wouldn't be back till the 23rd of this month. Two days later they called and said they have the car ready. The cost$908!I debated over and over that this was their problem to fix and they knocked $100 off.My car is still NOT driving properly!!!If u got money to throw away go to Ford.I had a better experience at City auto on Dorchester Rd.I honestly wish that I stick to what I knew being that I know very little about cars.I purchased a 2009 Pontiac grand prix from them 3 years ago and besides oil changes, spark plugs,and tune ups..Im highly satisfied with my first vehicle.Moral of the review,I NEVER BUY A CAR FROM FORD AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🤦🤦🤦 More
Horrible service support They scheduled me for an appointment to repair my car and after 3 days never even touched the car and told me they would understand if I go elsewhere. The appointment was scheduled over a week in advance. They also do not offer loaner vehicles for my case. The only offer an onsite enterprise rental that I can pay for. Worst dealership experience ever. Never buying another Ford after this. More
Warranty work on 2015 Mustang I purchased a speciality Roush Mustang from another Ford Dealer because Jones Ford does not sell Roush Mustangs. My car developed problems with rear I purchased a speciality Roush Mustang from another Ford Dealer because Jones Ford does not sell Roush Mustangs. My car developed problems with rear view back-up camera and a noise in the performance package brakes. I made an appointment with service writer Michael W. and everything was going well until I arrived at the dealership for the service work. It was clear from the get go that Michael was not going to do anything about the two problems I brought the car in for. The initial service repair work order did not have any mention of the camera or brake problem so Michael had to hand write them after I brought it to his attention. He did have a door latch recall completed but the rear view camera and brakes were a different story. Michael went into the standard line of NO. " Sorry the camera worked fine when we tested it and no noise from the brakes. No repairs made." It went down hill from there with a xxxx poor attitude. Not really sure why Michael did not want to help but I would not recommend him for any warranty work. Just to complete the story. I called my Jones Ford sales contact Tim Phillips , who put me in contact with the big boss. Big boss asked me to return the car for a recheck and maybe leave it overnight. No problem. The rear view camera was properly diagnosed and replaced under warranty. The service writer the second time was James McCall. He was helpful and spot on trying to help. He showed me the service record for the proper way to check the rear view camera and a fault code was indeed found the second visit. James McCall will be my go to man as fair as service writers. I had to return the Mustang to the Ford Dealer where I purchased it to have the performance package brakes replaced as per the guidelines of TSB 15-0030. Jones Ford is my hometown dealership as I currently own 7 Ford vehicles ( Trucks & Vans) for my company purchased from Jones Ford. When it is time for me to order my next Mustang I will give Jones Ford and Tim Phillips first crack at the sale. More
