I have avoided purchasing a new car for years. I was determined to drive my 2001 Camry until repair costs became too expensive. The day came yesterday. While my car was being diagnosed at Johnston's Toyota Service Department, I walked over to their Sales Department where I met Jamie Murcia. He was friendly and attentive. He asked what I was looking for in a Certified Used car and then brought me out to the lot to search for one. The first car I saw and test drove was a 2009 Camry. The price was within my means and the car was in perfect condition. I decided to purchase it. I was then introduced to David Velez the Financial Manager. He was also friendly and informative. He put my mind at ease as I attempted to juggle figures and warranty options. He helped me make sensible decisions regarding my purchase and payment plan. The best part was all I had to do was sign some papers. The new registration; transfer of license plates, insurance, and loan were all obtained for me. Jamie and David are outstanding and judging my experience with the Service Department Staff, so are the other employees of Johnston's Toyota. I highly recommend them for every automotive need! More

This is no nonsense Dealer. They Keep in constant contact with me about any problems or scheduled maintenance. I Felt like the saleswoman was my Friend and was looking out for me. We recently bought a new 2014 Corolla and found Jamie Murcia a very helpful and easy salesman to deal with. There never was any pressure or hard-sale strategy. In fact, at first I wasn't sure he wanted to sell us a car; maybe that was because I was expecting more pressure. But once we decided on what model and trim we wanted, they went out and found one and had it on the lot two days later. David Velez in the finance office also was a great help with our purchase by finding us a fantastic loan rate. This was the fourth Toyota we've bought at Johnstons in the past 15 years, so it shouldn't be surprising that I would recommend this dealership. More
I found this dealership by checking the new car inventory online. They had a lot of the vehicle I was interested in: the 2013 Prius C. I saw the car at a dealership in Brooklyn, Bay Ridge Toyota. My wife online. They had a lot of the vehicle I was interested in: the 2013 Prius C. I saw the car at a dealership in Brooklyn, Bay Ridge Toyota. My wife leased her 2013 Prius there for a great price: $320. per month on a 36 month lease with -0- down. I got a price on a Prius C lease for $295. a month, 36 months -0- down by the General Manager. It was not what I wanted to spend. I was looking to spend about $250. per month, 36 months -0- down. He could not do it. He told me Toyota did not have any special incentives or low lease factors on the Prius C. Hew also said that the regular Prius was now $350. per month, 36 months -0- down. I couldn't do a deal there. When I went into Johnston's Toyota, I was assigned to Daniel Rosenblum. He was friendly, welcoming, patient and knowledgeble. He showed me a Prius C and gave me a test drive since I had never driven it before. I have leased the regular Prius two times before and really like the regular Prius ride. It is smooth and has a big car feel. The Prius C unfortunately did not ride as well. You can feel the bumps in the road more and it seemed like a light, small car, which it is. Dan worked up the lease for me at 36months, -0- down and the payment came out to $295. about the same as the Brooklyn Dealer. Dan said that there were no special incentives from Toyota on the Prius C confirming the statement from Bay Ridge Toyota. However, he took the liberty of working up a Prius Plug in lease: 36 months, -0- down came out to $312. per month. This is on a $33,000 car with navigation, and heated seats. The Prius C retails at $22,000. He said that Toyota has a $6500 rebate on the car and a great lease money factor. A car with that sticker price could easily lease out at over $400. per month. I did not make the deal that day as I had to clear everything with my wife. Dan made a copy of the sticker and wrote clearly all the details of the lease and let me walk out the door with out any undue sales pressure to buy now. I thought that was a confident move on Dan's part since his lease deal is unbeatable. I returned the next day with my wife requesting that the dealer make the first payment, I am indebted to Paul, the finance manager for agreeing to make the first payment for me as an added incentive to begin a long happy business relationship with Johnston's Toyota. Lynn also worked very efficiently and swiftly to process my lease papers and credit check painlessly and joyfully. I would recommend Johnston's Toyota for their great prices, competent service, and no pressure sales team. Buying a car is a quick and pleasant experience at Johnston's Toyota! More
