After a bad experience with Toyota of Newton, NJ, we came home and called Johnstons. I spoke to Michelle their customer relations person who gave me their holiday hours. She asked if I wanted to make an appo home and called Johnstons. I spoke to Michelle their customer relations person who gave me their holiday hours. She asked if I wanted to make an appointment and since that seemed to be the problem at Newton I said NO. She told us to just come in and ask for her and we would be taken care of. We were greeted at the door by Kelvin Joseph and Michelle who just happened to be walking past us. We sat down with Kelvin who is a wonderful person . He was professional abut still very friendly and treated us like we were family. Within 15 minutes our trade-in was being road tested and things moved smoothly from there. I walk with a walker and my comfort, as well as my husbands, was constantly being looked after. The financial gentleman, David, was so helpful and we had all up front paperwork completed in no time. The next day David called me twice and because of a snow threat had no problem moving our pickup day up. We went to pick up our vehicle today and it was a repeat of the same wonderful treatment. I have avoided purchasing a new car for years. I was determined to drive my 2001 Camry until repair costs became too expensive. The day came yesterday. While my car was being diagnosed at Johnston's Toyota Service Department, I walked over to their Sales Department where I met Jamie Murcia. He was friendly and attentive. He asked what I was looking for in a Certified Used car and then brought me out to the lot to search for one. The first car I saw and test drove was a 2009 Camry. The price was within my means and the car was in perfect condition. I decided to purchase it. I was then introduced to David Velez the Financial Manager. He was also friendly and informative. He put my mind at ease as I attempted to juggle figures and warranty options. He helped me make sensible decisions regarding my purchase and payment plan. The best part was all I had to do was sign some papers. The new registration; transfer of license plates, insurance, and loan were all obtained for me. Jamie and David are outstanding and judging my experience with the Service Department Staff, so are the other employees of Johnston's Toyota. I highly recommend them for every automotive need! More
