Despite there being other dealerships in between Albany and Middletown, I am really, really happy that I choose Johnstons Toyota. Things went so great that when my wife's mini van needed replacement, well, she wants to write her own review because she ended up buying a car from Andy as well. Let's just say that Andy Bloom is great and Johnstons Toyota is great. I recommend them to anyone interested in a having a flawless car buying experience. Warm, Friendly, Honest. I have dealt with many dealerships over my life time, this is one of the, if not the, best. Debbie Daidone was who I spoke to on my first call about I have dealt with many dealerships over my life time, this is one of the, if not the, best. Debbie Daidone was who I spoke to on my first call about looking for a Tundra at this dealership. Over the phone she was so awesome to speak to, telling me the history of this company, it being family owned, and more, that it made me want to see this dealership to find out if more of the employees there were as kind, friendly, and informative as her. I told her I used to be a salesman, I know their tricks, and to give me a Sales Man, not a Sales Boy, as I did not want any games in my purchase or to waste my time. I was referred to Kelvin, who I found to be very good at what he does. No games, just great attitude and info on the vehicles he has that you may be interested in. He listens to you and narrows down the list so as not to waste your time. Once I found my truck, which was quick, (I had been looking elsewhere for weeks) I was introduced to Dan who was awesome going over all the offers his dealership had available to me with my purchase, and did a great job. His attitude and demeanor was simply outstanding, he makes you smile. I talked to many others there, even going in to a boss who also was very pleasant to talk with. I spoke to Don a few times, and found him to be very friendly and upbeat. I did have one small issue with the truck within a few weeks of getting it, so I went to their service department as it is Toyota Certified and would be covered. Even though after a day of trying, Jeff could not get the issue to happen again for him, yet he took my word on it, and installed a new part for me, I found that OUTSTANDING and it has not given me any issues since. Thanks so much Jeff. The truck itself is like new, mint condition yet Kelvin gave me a great price. He also told me the trucks history which is very important to me, telling me why the previous owner had traded it back in on another Tundra when it was only 2 years old. What more can you ask for. This dealership is a bit of a trip for me, but I would make that trip again in a heart beat. They have tons of vehicles and great staff throughout. I did not find one unpleasant person there, now that says something. If your looking for a car, come to this dealership, if you are looking for a truck, ask for Kelvin. If he does not have the answer you need on the truck, he will find it out for you, facts, not I think this or that. Thanks Kelvin, for being honest and going above and beyond to get my questions answered during my purchase. So you all know reading this, I am not friends with, nor knew any of these folks before I called about a truck I saw on the internet, nor was I paid or given anything for this review.
