Best Car Buying Experience Ever! I never look forward to the negotiating process for buying a new car as I have generally had nothing but bad experiences in the past. The process of negotiating a fair price typically has taken much too long (4 to 8 hours) and I always had to deal with numerous very aggressive sales personnel and their managers before bringing the negotiations to a close. If this has been your experience, then I highly recommend that you contact Christian Davidson (Internet Sales Manager) at Johnson Lexus of Raleigh to see how it should be done. I wrote one straightforward email to Christian detailing my specific requirements for a 2016 Lexus ES 300h hybrid model. Christian promptly responded by email with his best price. I accepted his very fair offer immediately and the financial negotiations were pleasant and over in a couple of hours by 3 emails total. The only thing left was finding the right car. For this, we went into Lexus of Raleigh and checked out all the cars on the lot. I liked the white one that we drove but my wife always gets to pick the colors and she wanted the dark blue exterior (Nightfall Mica) with the Parchment interior. A search of all dealer lots in the USA found none that met our specific specifications. In addition to the colors that my wife wanted, I wanted all the other Lexus options except that I did not want the Ultra Luxury package nor the Mark Levinson Audio options. Lexus of Raleigh did find exactly what we wanted on a ship in transit from Japan to the seaport in Jacksonville, Florida. We chose the VIN number which met 100% of our requirements and we picked up the 300h on December 7. Total delivery time was one month to get exactly what we wanted. We always add a few dealer installed items so we chose the body side molding and the gold hand painted pinstripes. The car looks fantastic! It also drives and accelerates very nicely and is very quiet inside. It will take a while before I can confirm the 40 MPG. If you need a new car and if you want a great experience in dealing with a person who is friendly, knowledgeable and the exact opposite of high pressure, then contact Christian Davidson at Johnson Lexus of Raleigh. We would be remiss if we did not also comment that we received excellent Lexus Dealer support from Jay Tetreault (Manager), Angelica Chong (Lexus Accessory Manager) and Ryan Mariano (Delivery Specialist). Ryan was very knowledgeable and spent a great deal of time explaining all of the 300h features. We then drove away very happy with our purchase. More

I finally, after researching a number of other small SUV's, decided to buy a brand-new NX200t. We decided on sticking with a Lexus because of the great dealer service (I must say the thought of losing the free valet parking at Crabtree panicked me a bit). Again, Tim was great to work with, had the patience of Job while I decided which car I wanted. I love my new NX - I got the color combination that I wanted. So far, it is working out great! I was only about 3 miles from home and the deer came out of no where. Car is a total loss Want to say thanks to Moe and Roger. It was confirmed twice before final purchase and both times we received same incorrect information about the car. Called back the next morning (less than 24 hours) and they told us they could not reverse the deal so we could start over on our car search. We were told NO, they would not reverse the deal and accept the car back. They pretended to find the car we wanted; only to wind the clock down and say that we've had it X amounts of months now so they quit the search. They still have not corrected this so we are stuck with the type of car we specified we didn't want. Paid thousands out of pocket for this car. I'm still in my 5 year recovery period from breast cancer and don't need the extra stress! Very disappointed this well-known dealership that they have not corrected this scenario since the mistakes was on their end! I feel I should have received a full refund as we were mislead. More
