I discovered this week that Lucas Ford is trying to rip-off owners that bought cars from them. I got a letter in the mail from Ford that my “TCM has had its warranty extended and if you want to get it rip-off owners that bought cars from them. I got a letter in the mail from Ford that my “TCM has had its warranty extended and if you want to get it replaced, you can just call your local dealership for replacement free of charge parts and labor.” I got a phone call from the service girl that “we’re not going to replace your TCM because we don’t see anything wrong with it. If you want to further diagnose the issue it’ll cost $380.” I told them where to get off and to return the car. This is an obvious issue because the car bucks & stutters. I have written to Ford headquarters on this issue. I’m curious what their response will be. Is this all a ploy to “stir up service business” for the dealerships? Beware of these crooks! More
