We began our search via internet looking for the car we wanted and their best price. We then began discussion via phone. After receiving six offers, our decision came down to two. Johnson City was far and above #1. From the internet experience with Andrea Dalton to our salesman, Van Redstone to the sales manager, Matt Malson to the finance manager, Mark Turner to the delivery coordinator, Lily Price, they treated us like family and very much wanted our business. They even introduced us to the service manager after our purchase. We have purchased many vehicles and We can honestly say that our very best buying experience has been and is with Johnson City Toyota. If anyone is looking for a new/used vehicle, we highly recommend Johnson City Toyota. From your first step with the internet, no one is better than Andrea and if you walk in to the dealership, ask for Van. You won't be disappointed. Kelly Winchell and how he responded to me on the phone was the main reason we drove up. I spoke to him after dealing with a salesman who didn’t send me info I needed to seal the deal. Kelly got that info for me and we were very grateful. We purchased our Rav 4 and traded in my Honda Civic. All went very smooth! Very satisfied with customer service and the vehicle! Would drive again if interested in another car! More

Bait and Switch? Dealer advertised a coupon maintenance special and did not uphold promise. Coupon for $19.99 oil change, tire rotation, alignment check, and car wash Dealer advertised a coupon maintenance special and did not uphold promise. Coupon for $19.99 oil change, tire rotation, alignment check, and car wash. Called to make the appointment, and described coupon. The scheduler gave me a 3:45 appointment. Next day, I get an email with a confirmation that lists all the services I was to receive, EXCEPT the car wash was left off. I both called and emailed back, saying to include the car wash, as promised on the coupon. The rep on the phone said they didn't normally do car washes "for the public", too many cars come through, and blah blah. I said the coupon plainly says car wash was included. This seems small, but it was especially important for me on that day, for reasons I won't get into here. She agrees finally, and says bring the coupon. I did, and was on time (early, actually). Greeted by a very friendly tech, I showed the coupon, and stressed I needed the car wash, but they could skip the tire rotation because it was not yet time for that. He agrees, and jovially promises to "take care of it". At almost closing time, the tech finally comes out and says, "sorry, we don't have time to do the car wash". I sat there in reception watching customers come and go, with repairs much more time consuming than a simple oil change and car wash. It was obvious to me that they had no intention of doing the car wash from the very beginning. So, I am fuming, but the worst is yet to come. The $19.99 service is now almost tripled, and is over $52.00!!! The tech points out the fine print on the coupon that says for 5 or less quarts, and my Tundra holds 8 quarts, so the $19.99 deal doesn't apply, and it's now $52.00 "after the discount". Of course, he didn't point out the fine print until AFTER I had the service done, even thought I showed him the coupon, and he knew what I expected! Although this is a very minor maintenance issue, I think this example speaks to the trustworthiness, honesty, and integrity of the dealership. This was BLATANT false advertising, if not bait and switch. If the dealership is this shady for such a small service, they certainly will not have my business when more major issues come up! Totally lost confidence in Toyota! More

The first one was spent waiting on a salesman that never did show, the second one not even being able to look at a truck that was supposed to be there. As if that weren't enough they decided to lo ball me on trade in to the point of humiliation. I'm done with this place, I've never been so humiliated in trying to buy a vehicle. More
