There was one ca My car (2007 Rav4) was scheduled for an oil change at 11:10 am and as I had to wait on my car, I decided to walk around the car lot. There was one car I was looking at and a salesman came over and asked if I wanted to look at the inside. As I had about 45 minutes to wait, I thought why not; and then I took a test drive. The car was okay; but I was not in the market for a new car. The salesman asked me to wait a minute to see what he could offer. His offer was way out of my price range. The salesman then wanted to show me another car, one which he said had more leeway in "dealing". The car was okay; but again, I was not in the market for a new car. At this time my car's service was complete. I paid for the service and the salesman said I would be reimbursed for the service if I left with a new car. The price, again, was out of my range. I told the salesman my grandson (age 13) was at home alone and I had to go. He asked me again to wait a moment to see what he could do. I know now I should have been rude and said sorry, I have to go; but I was trying to be courteous. This back and forth went on for about two more hours. At this point, I was extremely hungry, my grandson was calling to see when I would be home. I told the salesman I had to go and he asked for me to wait once again and brought out the sale manager who talked about another hour trying to get me to buy or lease the car. As I had had nothing to eat all day, my mental capacity was not as sharp as it should have been. Again, I told the salesman and manager that I needed to go as I was hungry and my grandson had been home all day by himself. I should have left; but I agreed to a lease on a car I really did not need just to get home. Then - they rushed me to clean out my car, the salesman helped me as he had a funeral to attend; by saying he cleaned out the glove compartment and doors. I was so glad to get out of there - at this time it was 5:00 or 5:15. I went home and realized the salesman had not cleaned out the glove box or the doors. I had some important legal papers in my glove box and had to return to the dealership to get them. AND I was not reimbursed for the service that was performed on my car. I have purchased several cars in the past; but never have I been treated like I was being interrogated and could not leave. I have driven Toyotas for the past 18 years and am sold on the quality of the cars; but do not recommend this dealership. More

After taking my 2015 Nissan rouge in for a trade on a 2015 Toyota highlander only because the rouge was to small for my wife's business needs, we were insulted by a trade in value offer of 15000.00 on a car that listed for almost 34000.00 a year ago. We went down the road to morristown and was offered 9000.00 more on our trade, which was a very good experience. Will never go to Johnson city Toyota again, ever! Crooks More

Great car, loved our salesperson Dylan Overall we had a great buying experience. I just have one bone of contention and that is regarding our trade in. At the urging of Toyota of Johnson Overall we had a great buying experience. I just have one bone of contention and that is regarding our trade in. At the urging of Toyota of Johnson City's website I valued my trade according to their link to Kelley Blue Book. I then received an e-mail with an approximate value for my current car. During the negotiation I was offered about $6000 less for my trade-in than the low end of my estimate. I was told that the Kelley Blue Book method is not valid and that banks won't lend used car buyers that kind of money. Needless to say I was shocked! After a couple of hours of negotiation we finally agreed on a value that was higher but still significantly lower than the low end estimate. My wife fell in love with the car so I purchased it... No body forced me to do this of course but I was very disappointed that the dealership did not honor the trade-in value that I received via the site LINKED on their web page. I will not buy again from Toyota of Johnson City. More
