Don’t deal with this dealership if you can find another dealer. Please read this review if you can. It is very long but full of all the details. On Tuesday 08/27/2024 my wife and I when to JCH to look a dealer. Please read this review if you can. It is very long but full of all the details. On Tuesday 08/27/2024 my wife and I when to JCH to look at Honda Odyssey vans. Jose Cooper from sales met us as we parked and exited our vehicle. I told him what we were looking for and they did not have any on the lot. He told us to wait a minute and he wanted to check and make sure. He came back out and said that they had one in transit and should be there any day. So we went in and got some numbers on a trade. The numbers were too high so we told them no and we were going to leave. Jose asked us to wait a minute and he went and got his General Manager Jason Prunkard. Mr Prunkard set down and started talking numbers. We told him what we wanted and he told us it should be there any day. We went over what was on the vehicle and he was acting like he was reading it off the computer. I asked him for a print out of the vehicle so I could look it over and he said he could not print it because he didn’t have a vin number for it. I should have known better then and left but I didn’t and he told me that he usually sold these vehicles before they came in. We got to the right numbers and Jason told me that I would have to put a $1,000.00 on my card and it would be mine. I asked if it wasn’t what we wanted would I get my $1,000.00 back and he said sure so I put a $1,000.00 on my card and left. On Friday 08/30/2024 we went back to JCH to check on the van and to at least get a copy of the window sticker and we were told they could not give us one because they didn’t have a vin number and they didn’t know where the vehicle was and when it would be on the lot. We left empty handed. On Saturday 08/31/2024 we when to Kingsport Honda and they did have a Honda Odyssey Elite on the lot like we wanted. We worked on a trade and we purchased the vehicle. I called Jose Cooper at JCH and told him that we found another vehicle and I wanted to get my $1,000.00 credited back to my card. He told me to wait a minute and put me on hold. Jose came back and told me that JASON Prunkard said that I was not getting my money back. I then ask Jose to let me talk to Mr Prunkard and he told me that he said he was not talking to me. So I hung up and called my BANK. They are working on this for me. I received no merchandise, no vehicle and no paperwork and they still want my money. This is wrong and not good business ethics so if you don’t want taken, you better find another dealership, like KINGSPORT HONDA or someone who has honest work More
Probably ought to find another dealership! Lee Lee was a great salesman- very knowledgeable, professional, helpful, etc., etc., etc. We did fine until he came back with Jason Punkerman. Jason Lee Lee was a great salesman- very knowledgeable, professional, helpful, etc., etc., etc. We did fine until he came back with Jason Punkerman. Jason was nice until he found out that I wasn’t going to let him rip me a new one. I told him 4 times in every imaginable English way that I would like to have an out the door price so I could compare apples to apples from other dealers. And every time he’d talk in circles and say “MSRP plus taxes and accessories” or “roughly xxx dollars.” I asked him twice, “About?” or “Roughly?” He acted like I was mentally challenged and said, “Yeah.” I asked him if he had a calculator. His reply was, “Everybody’s got a calculator.” I asked again if he would figure me an out the door price. “Somewhere around $61,000.” I thanked him for his time(probably not real politely since he didn’t care if I had wasted an hour and a half of my day). He proceeded to tell me how sorry the other dealerships were because they would lie to me and basically that I was ignorant and naive(which in car dealer world I am). I bid him farewell and walked out. And yes, the salesman ran out to the parking lot to tell me he would get me a price if I would call him. Sorry, Lee. You were a great guy and I had every intention of buying a new car from you until Punkman got involved. I told my wife if he would have given me anything it could have furthered the talks. Imagine my surprise when I went to close that tab on my phone and I find out this guy is the General Manager of the whole dealership!! LeeLee, it was a pleasure working with you, and I hope you can work for somebody soon that’s not gonna kill your hard work, and have a little respect for not only the customers, but also for his sales force. Kingsport, Bristol, and Boone are only short drives. I would wholeheartedly recommend making one of them! More
