Nick Kropelninicki scanned my Jeep on the 20th and was amazingly helpful, I won't be able to have my jeep serviced there because of my extended warranty but he gave me all the info I needed about what was amazingly helpful, I won't be able to have my jeep serviced there because of my extended warranty but he gave me all the info I needed about what was possibly happening with my Jeep. He printed out my codes and a Star case to give the techs doing the work. After working in customer service for nearly 20 years myself I know how much patience it takes to calm a stressed customer. I will be using this service center for anything I need in the future. Thanks Nick! More
Absolutely horrible experience…paid over 2k…and my car was there for over a month before i could even get it back…and was so disappointed when i drove off with my car missing parts and oil stains everywhe was there for over a month before i could even get it back…and was so disappointed when i drove off with my car missing parts and oil stains everywhere…specially dissatisfying with the staff for the way i was treated and the poor service …I advise them of a missing part …and was answered by a manager, “ the part probably wasn’t there to begin with”, I called them the next day and they had my part…how unprofessional.! More

This dealership is minutes from home, would have been a great convenience but my expensive vehicles and safety are far more valuable than convenience….. First issue was early this summer. This dealership sat on my car for about 2 weeks before performing any work, this happened over two appointments. First one, they continued to give me the same update, that my AC was charged, leaked all the refrigerant overnight and charged again without finding a leak. Seemed hard to believe so I pressed them for more answers. Turns out they were giving me updates on a different car and mine was ready for pickup days earlier… They figured the most likely cause and asked me to come back in a month for them to confirm and replace the bad component. A month went by and I dropped off my Tahoe again, this time with an 8-day vacation on the horizon, plenty of time to fix the problem… except they waited until day 6 to actually look at my vehicle and then had to order parts… 16 days they had my car, 2-days work occurred. Issue two, my Tahoe is now at another dealership because Johnson auto refuses to fix my rattling tailgate. If I could post a video on google, we’d be in complete agreement there is a major issue... After ‘servicing’ my vehicle 4 times, but never replacing a single part mind you, I was informed that ‘they took the bosses car out, and his rattles way worse’ so there was nothing they further they would do. So because ‘the boss’ is ok listening to the trunk banging around like it’s open, I should live with it too… $70k doesn’t buy you anything nice these days I guess… And lastly, the issue that brought me to post this review… a HUGE safety concern… my Silverado had an issue with the trailer brake controller. A mere annoyance, until Johnson Auto touched it! Originally, in stop and go traffic, my trailer brakes would chime and say they were not connected, then reconnect. Once Johnson got ahold of it and replaced the part, I now get the warnings over and over which was followed by a TRAILER BRAKE SYSTEM SHUTDOWN!! My trailer brakes completely disconnected and the system shut down as I came down the mountain this past weekend putting my life and other motorists lives in danger. That had never happened before they touched it and I towed my trailer a LOT this year. After the other two occurrences with my Tahoe, I have zero trust in this service department. There is no accountability here either. I have the service managers cell phone number, he’s very well aware of the issues I’ve had, yet they continue. The GM, Todd, didn’t feel my concerns were worthy of a call back. When no one at the top cares, why would any other employee??? More
I took my truck in for a recall and found out that it had a second recall they were also going to take care of. After getting the truck back it now has the check engine light that states the ABS (Anti anti-l a second recall they were also going to take care of. After getting the truck back it now has the check engine light that states the ABS (Anti anti-lock brakes) are not working correctly. I took it back to have them correct the issue and found that they could not get me in for three weeks. This is a very mismanaged organization with unskilled staff and a complete disregard for any type of customer service. You will be much better off taking your vehicle anywhere else as you are just a paycheck for this company. The only one getting any value out of their services is the dealership!! More

I took my truck in for a warranty service the oil pan is leaking a touch, and I asked them to look at the steering gear box that it appears to be leaking around the sensor. They called me up saying the stee leaking a touch, and I asked them to look at the steering gear box that it appears to be leaking around the sensor. They called me up saying the steering gear box is bad the idler arm is bad the pitman arm is bad and the hydro boost is leaking into the truck and wanted to charge me some god awful amount to repair it, I told them to just repair the oil pan that is still under warranty, they then said they need $1,200.00 to remove the cross member because the truck has a 5" lift on it needless to say I told them that I will just come get the truck, the truck only has 50,000 miles on it and I got the truck with the lift. I had another shop look at the truck they did say the idler arm and pitman arm got a little play not bad but will need to be addressed the steering gear box is fine it is leaking from the sensor like I thought it was and the hydro boost is not leaking inside the truck, I will never take my truck back to this dealer for repairs. More

I have purchased over 7 vehicles from Johnson's Auto. I always feel that I'm treated fairly. The service department has always treated me fairly. I deal with David on the Jerp side as my service advisor I always feel that I'm treated fairly. The service department has always treated me fairly. I deal with David on the Jerp side as my service advisor. David always kept me informed as to what is going on with my vehicle and listens to my concerns. I have also dealt with Jake on the Ram Diesel side. Jake also treats me very fairly listens to my concerns and keeps me informed about my vehicles. David and Jake are top notch as service advisors going above and beyond and are a great assets for the Johnsons Auto. More
I bought a fob to have as an extra key. I bought the fob from another company. When it came time to cut the blank on the fob. The key machine was down. I went to Johnson Auto Plaza, and spoke with Paul. Paul cut the blank, but it did not work. He proceeded to work on the blank a little longer and was able to complete the task, and it worked great. I appreciate Paul took the time to help out, instead of just saying he couldn’t get it to work. I’ve used the service department before at Johnson Auto Plaza, and have always found to be very helpful. Thanks again to Paul for his assistance. More
We had a really good experience with the Johnson Auto Service & especially one amazingly dedicated service man, Dave Maldonado. He was the best! When my granddaughter's Jeep wouldn't start after being Service & especially one amazingly dedicated service man, Dave Maldonado. He was the best! When my granddaughter's Jeep wouldn't start after being at the Denver Airport parking structure for 4 days, we were referred to Johnson Auto Plaza for the closest Jeep service after none of 3 tow service companies could start her Compass. Being from out of state & alone as a student at UCCS, this was a nightmare for her. But, Dave spoke with us several times during the day's process of getting an available flatbed tow vehicle to deliver the Compass to Johnson Plaza 12 hours later, during the night. Immediately the following day, around dawn, Dave came to work, located the delivered vehicle and already started analysis of what the problems could be. Dave called me in California to explain what was ruled out and that he would try to see if his electrical tech could work-in the Compass somehow in the next 24 hours, as soon as the tech might have a space of time, as their service dept is jammed with hundreds of customers with scheduled service each week and they are the closest Jeep service center from the airport. We appreciate all that Dave did to listen and help. He showed such dedication to his work and kept track of the car. He called and texted to maintain communications with both of us, explaining the vehicle's diagnostic results, sent it in writing, with the estimate for each repair and also checked over the Jeep for any needed regular service. Updates were maintained by text and the following afternoon her car was ready for pick up. He fully explained what was covered on warranty or regular replacement fees. When my granddaughter or I spoke with him, Dave was always courteous and understanding. I later learned he is a dad with kids about the same age and I feel he has extra compassion for his young customers. Dave listens and remembers you when you call him. THANK YOU! Maggie & Ann More
