The worst GM certified service I have received thus far. Went in for a leak in my tire and had to replace the tire. Woke up the next morning tire was flat, came back in and they said my rim was cracked so I Went in for a leak in my tire and had to replace the tire. Woke up the next morning tire was flat, came back in and they said my rim was cracked so I told them they cracked the rim cause as thorough as GM service is about assessing the problem that you came in for plus whatever other issue you have with your vehicle it came to an astonishing surprise that they said they didn’t crack my rim which I know for a fact they did cause I drove from Ohio to Mississippi and only had to add air to my tire once per day and the lowest my tire pressure had been was 19lbs. When I picked my car up at 6pm all four tires had 32lbs in them but at 3am when I started my car there were only 13lbs in the tire Thornton replaced. I have a tire and wheel protection and without my initial consent to use my warranty because I only have so many claims per year and as you know it’s just the beginning of spring plus I live in Michigan which is pothole heaven. So I told the service manager how we could resolve the issue and he came up with a solution that fell only in his favor which was I use my warranty for their negligence and we split the cost of an additional tire that I was going to replace on the driver side. By that thing I had been there for 6 hours and since I had been up since 3am I agreed cause I knew I had to get back to Michigan for my 4am Dialysis treatment. But the bottom line is everyone makes mistakes and I completely understand but when something is out of the customers hand and it falls on the company to live up to your commitment of quality service and not tell the customer how much you paid for a tire machine and that it’s impossible for the machine to crack a rim. Thanks for getting me back on the road feeling pretty violated my entire 757 mile drive back to Michigan. More
