I bought a car that they did the minimum service on. I knew that the AC needed charging and didn't mind if it was added to the price of the car. They didn't even try to fix the problem or offer to service it. I'm a 65 year old disabled man with a heart condition and AC in Georgia is a necessity. The front tires have punctures on the sides and they didn't say if they checked the coolant. I have bought a car from John Thornton before so this is why I came back....... big mistake. No even contacted me from my calls to get service that I am willing to pay for. I know the car was bought"as is" but I expected better from John Thornton. I can't recommend anyone to purchase from John Thornton because I'm not satisfied with my purchase and no one seems to care. I made an appointment with Service Advisor Jarod Powell about a week before my service visit to get a set of tires and oil change service for my Tahoe. Also, two recalls for software updates were taken ca about a week before my service visit to get a set of tires and oil change service for my Tahoe. Also, two recalls for software updates were taken care of as well. Everything was done in about 3 hours, which I believe was pretty good for all that had to be done. I've been a Thornton Chevrolet customer since 2005, and it's nice to see familiar faces when I come in. Just about everyone there has helped me at one time or another, including Jarod who helped me a couple years ago when I had valve lifter failure on a Silverado and it was in the shop for an extended time, during the pandemic when there was a shortage of loaner vehicles. More
