Because of the issue, Bryon called GM to see if they would help with the cost and they did, dropping the price from $1,100 to $350. Outstanding work overall. More

Battery replacement gone wrong I have done business with them for 40 years. They normally do great. But this time was not good. A simple battery replacement went bad. After the repl I have done business with them for 40 years. They normally do great. But this time was not good. A simple battery replacement went bad. After the replacement I looked under the hood after a few miles from the dealership and saw that the battery was not sitting level. I called the service writer and returned to the dealership. He looked and said it was okay. I pointed out that it was not okay and that the battery was not sitting under the retainer on the right side. It was sitting on top of the retainer, thus causing it to look not level. I also found a square rubber part laying between the battery and the fender. At first, they did not know what this was. Another tech in the shop recognized that it was a vent cover that attached to the firewall behind the battery. During this event, I brought this to the attention of Gary Rogers who then engaged Steve White. They were great and intervened to ensure the corrections were made. I know that sometimes things go wrong. But, this was very frustrating and a 20-30 minutes service event turned into almost 3 hours and required a return trip back to the dealer. More

Intermittent Check Engine Light This service visit was for an intermittent "Check Engine Light" warning on my Colorado that first appeared in early May. The light had gone out by t This service visit was for an intermittent "Check Engine Light" warning on my Colorado that first appeared in early May. The light had gone out by the time brought it in the first time and consulted with the Service Dept. staff. Three weeks late it came back on while out of state on a trip, cycling on and off a few times with increasing frequency, and was on when I brought the truck in for its first official service visit on May 28. What I'd describe as the "first level" of checks was done at that time, with no hardware changed, but the computer was re-flashed. The light then remained off over the next 23 days and 1400 miles, until June 21. I brought it back in on June 24 for a deeper examination, and a problem was found with one of the camshaft solenoid valves, which was replaced. Tim Yates was by Service Advisor for both visits. At no time did I experience any drivability or performance issues, before or after the repair. So far, so good, and I'm confident that the problem is fixed. More
