New Tires & Routine Oil Change I stopped by the Service Dept. on Saturday, Oct. 26 and talked to Service Advisor Bryan Steinke about bringing my Colorado in for a set of tires and a I stopped by the Service Dept. on Saturday, Oct. 26 and talked to Service Advisor Bryan Steinke about bringing my Colorado in for a set of tires and an oil change the following week. I had already checked Thornton's on-line tire selector on their website and Bryan confirmed that the tires I selected were available and set my appointment up for the following Wednesday (Oct. 30). Bryan was ready for me when I arrived on Wednesday and had the work completed (new tires and oil change) in less than two hours, which I thought was excellent. Bryan also lined me up on a tire rebate offer that I was not aware of, which was especially nice since I used my GM Card, which doubled the rebate. All of the Thornton service advisors have helped me at one time or another, and Bryan has consistently been helpful and interested in providing good service. More
Leaving for work and car was dead Went to leave for work and the car wouldn't start. SO I called roadside assistance and after 2 hours they arrived and jump started the car. I drove to John Thornton knowing I didn't have an appointment and was taken in right away. Turned out the battery was dead as I suspected. In 2 hours they had me back on the road. Bryon has been my service rep since 2008 and always takes good care of me and my family! More

Skeptical of services received I brought my car in because it was sounding and driving different than what I am used to. I shared with them the check engine light came on briefly. T I brought my car in because it was sounding and driving different than what I am used to. I shared with them the check engine light came on briefly. They came back with a potential reason for the problem and serviced the problem, but when I drove my car it was exactly the same. I took it to another service provider and they diagnosed a completely different problem and now it is fine. I spent $400 fixing something that may or may not needed fixing, but if they had drove the vehicle after rendering the services they would have known what they attempted to fix had not been fixed. I wish I had followed my first instinct and taken it somewhere else. This isn't the first time this has happened where I had to question whether or not what they were telling me is accurate. I was also annoyed to get a call from a sales representative while my car is in the shop asking if I wanted to buy another car instead. I know that is standard practice. I still don't like it. More

I made a 9 am appointment and dropped my vehicle off the night before so that my vehicle would be a priority at best. My vehicle was not touched at all, not even a diagnostic. The parts that service said I needed was not there either. Why would you set an appointment for someone's vehicle that they need for work and you do not have or do not event look at the vehicle? My vehicle would have been there 48 hours or more. Parts should be checked first and appointments made second. Very frustrating. More
