I bought my 2012 Chevy Cruze at this dealership on 2-10-12 I have brought my car to this service center for at least 90% of everything ever completed on it. I do this as a means for me to develop my confidence I have brought my car to this service center for at least 90% of everything ever completed on it. I do this as a means for me to develop my confidence in a business that I am working with. I have always felt that it helps with my rapport of the service reps that I deal with. My concern with this visit is the price of the invoice. I didn't realize until I got home how the invoice was broken down and I'm very concerned that I paid $472.33 for one item. When I return back in town after the holiday I would like someone to help me understand this invoice. I'm not questioning anyone's integrity but rather trying to understand this better as to why something cost so much. Others have asked me why I always take my car to the dealership and my response is always because I trust them and I don't wish to have that trust falter in any way. In 2018 I purchased a new Chevrolet and of course, returned to John Thornton for service because of previous satisfaction. Only to be greeted with unbelief! There is a new attitude in the air there. On my third visit with my new vehicle, I am outdone. Service was so unacceptable that I retrieved my vehicle and went elsewhere. It is clear to me that my patronage is no longer valued. Some days hit or miss with customer service I wished they had more detailed notes so that when you had to call several times, they could just read the notes and everyone would be on the same pag I wished they had more detailed notes so that when you had to call several times, they could just read the notes and everyone would be on the same page. I also hate the fact that they charge a diagnostic fee for each part of the car. They should diagnose the car itself and tell you whats wrong and not go by what the customer may think is wrong. They are supposed to be the experts. More
