I'm pleased to report that the transaction went smoothly and exactly as discussed and agreed upon. Mind you, there really aren't discounts on new cars right now so we can't speak to how "fair" the deal was,, but the dealership did not tack anything onto the price nor mess with the numbers or finance rate. Mark was professional and honest and we're very satisfied with the whole process. More
You have to be very careful with the service department because they will disable your vehicle to get more money out of you. They locked the wheel on my vehicle and told me I could drive it and it was beca because they will disable your vehicle to get more money out of you. By putting The rear tire on the front of the car disabled the vehicle and they wanted 4,000 dollars for the repair. I had the car towed to another shop and they put the tires back in the right place and that cost me 125. plus the towing. The 4000 dollars was a scam. For about a month, I worked with a sales rep at John O'Neil Johnson Hyundai in Meridian, MS on the purchase of a new 2023 Tucson hybrid limited. They were the only dealership that was getting the exact O'Neil Johnson Hyundai in Meridian, MS on the purchase of a new 2023 Tucson hybrid limited. They were the only dealership that was getting the exact vehicle I was looking for. When the vehicle arrived at the dealership, I scheduled an appointment to purchase and pick it up. As I live out of state, it's about a 4 hour drive to Meridian. I confirmed the appointment Friday for a Saturday pick up and that I had the right form of payment and was assured the vehicle would be ready. I reconfirmed Saturday morning that everything was all set. I was told yes. I also got 2 email confirmations about the appointment Saturday morning, one email Friday and the other Saturday morning at 9:25 am. Approximately 150 miles into the drive, at 10:00 am and an hour before my appointment time I received a call that John O'Neil Johnson Hyundai had traded the vehicle to another dealership. I realize I didn't pay a deposit but I was never asked to pay a deposit to secure the vehicle that I had agreed to purchase. My wife and I drove 300 miles and wasted over 5 hours of a Saturday on a broken promise of purchasing a vehicle. Fortunately, Team one Hyundai in Gadsden, AL was getting the same vehicle in and I purchased from them 2 days later. Highly recommend Team 1, by the way. In any case, beware of very unprofessional and unethical business practices with this dealership. They didn't even reimburse the fuel cost for the wasted trip. More

They can not repair the Hyndai they sold They have been "fixing" my vehicle for 8 weeks! It started as an air conditioner problem, and then we were told 3 weeks ago that it is now a transmis They have been "fixing" my vehicle for 8 weeks! They have NEVER contacted us, they have never offered to give us another vehicle to use as the "fix" ours, they have never ordered the first part to fix it. We were told today that they haven't ordered a part! I'm at a loss because we purchased the vehicle new from this place! Why can you not fix a vehicle you sale? I so wanted to purchase the new Santa Fe, but I have lost all faith in Hyndai now. More
Shady, will LIE and run your credit without your permission. Went there today, found a car I liked, was trying to get a price I liked. Hyundai Elantra Sport. Loved the car. Came back in to do business and get a bottom line amount. They had me sign a paper to do a soft inquiry on my credit. Then came back with an amount. There was some haggling and I told them my price and the 2nd in charge said sign here and we can run a hard inquiry on your credit and see what the best price we can get for you. Well I didn't want to do that until they at least came close to the price I wanted. They wouldn't come down to my price so I never signed the paper and left and told them I would think about it. I get down the road and get "7" emails where they had done "7" hard inquiry's on my credit. Now I had repeatedly asked if they were going to do this and was told no. So turn around and go back and the Manager said well you signed the first piece of paper, I said yes to pull my information, not to run a credit check. He said well you signed it so we ran it. Basically oh well tuff poo poo. I have been in the process of looking for the right vehicle for a couple weeks and not had one dealership run my credit just to get me a price on a car. Don't do business here if you care about your credit score, because they don't. More
