Mike Presley & his sales manager, Jimmy Hellet, made purchasing a car in Jan 2019 IMPOSSIBLE. I NEVER spoke with a finance manager. I was changing from THEIR rental car, from mine when he called at dark purchasing a car in Jan 2019 IMPOSSIBLE. I NEVER spoke with a finance manager. I was changing from THEIR rental car, from mine when he called at dark and gave me the terms very fast (I was literally still on their lot) the terms were $5000 down and $500 mo. "what is the interest rate?" "I would like to speak to a finance manager" "I would like to speak with Jimmy" NOT ONE of those MEN EVER called me. NONE. He texted, and ignored texts, but to speak to me? NO. I even replied in a text "when was the last time you spoke to your customer Mike" At that time, I also heard a man with his feet propped up on his desk, bragging a lady had been trying to buy from them for the last 2 weeks & "eventually she will crack and call, I could tell" I guess she was lucky she wasn't in dire need for transportation as I was already in a bad local dealership car. I couldn't believe they treated me that way. I'm going through a divorce STILL and we were co purchasing the car. HE is out of state since the hurricane. We were very concienous before we let our credit get zapped, and it was knocked down for about 8 months. Yet, they wouldn't discuss it with me. I didn't know the interest rate. I didn't know what more I could or coudnlt' put down to lower the car payment. It was THEIR secret. I could techenically even have paid cash AT THAT TIME but, I spent thousands in rental cars from them. That is a nice man. He was helpful, he was shocked Mike treated me that way. Not to mention, as I was driving a Rogue (the car they were trying to talk me into buying) he started popping off about whip cream jokes. I got so nervous between that, and that tiny car, I just turned around and took the car back to the dealership. I was in a rental on the beach, my dog was in the late stages of life, I was leaving them locked in a strange place, in their crates, trying to get my hurricane repairs completed. Meeting with the GC, and the house. Well, instead I have been stranded, years now. The car I do own has been towed off so many times and in the shop so many times. The check engine light is on. This is the car I had plenty of money and eclellent credit, and open insurance company from hurricane Michael. I needed a car to save all my assets, my life, travel for health, travel to move or buy replacments. Instead, I'm not applying for Florida Assistance Programs, Uber, Delivery fees. And, I also have a gofundme account set up as a result. This area also did't and does not have great wireless or high speed internet services. I NEEDED A CAR! I HOLD JOHN LEE NISSAN RESPONSIBLE AS SO MANY OTHERS. HURRICANE GREED.. Taking advantage of a woman & divorce. HORRIblE. I was trying to purcahse a used Nissan Murano & although it was a FWD I still loved it. The jobs & paces I could have been going for the last three yeas. the life I could have had....God knows. :( More
