FINALLY!!! My previous vehicle had 'finally' expired after 10 mostly dependable years. I found that the car buying experience had changed over the years and no one wanted to help me get into a decent vehicle at a decent price. A few blemishes on my credit report seemed to be enough to accrue several "we can't help you"s from dealers who boldly stated "CREDIT PROBLEMS-NO PROBLEM!" FINALLY, my daughter suggested Smith Used Cars. She had purchased a Subaru Outback and was pleased with the sale and service. After four or five turndowns I was getting a little desparate, so I gave John Barone at the dealership a visit. FINALLY, somebody decided to work for my business. John searched his entire inventory to find several "possibles". Then he crunched the numbers and suggested the vehicle that was more affordable for me rather than one with a higher price tag! What car dealer does that?! I decided to forgo some affordability when I saw a beautiful '08 Nissan Maxima. Finance guru Jeff Johnson secured financing in a matter of minutes and even overcame an insurance snag by contacting insurer's headquarters. I cannot thank those guys enough for the work and effort they put into FINALLY getting me into a vehicle. More

When we returned, we were greeted warmly and given the keys to sit in and then test drive the short list of vehicles. John was available but never pressed us. When we told him we were going to purchase the Jeep Liberty, he immediately started working on the terms and paperwork and got the car in for clean up. He and his colleague were a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately, within a day, there was a problem with the exhaust system, but we brought the car back at opening time on the next business day and the vehicle was fixed to our satisfaction when it was promised. We had a very positive experience and will definitely recommend John L. Smith to others and consider returning for another vehicle, if the need arises. Thank you. More

Away from home n works to raise five children as a single mother I needed a vehicle fast n a reliable one I called to tell john that I had a bad accident and wouldn't be able to get to work because I had no running vehicle not because I was hurt but my van was That very afternoon I was in a rental that was much newer than the van I was purchasing beautiful well running 2013 car fully gassed and ready to go when I arrived to pick it up and they helped me deal with my insurance company who had been giving me the run around. Not even two weeks later im in a newer van still affordable and hand selected for me by john. I was very satisfied with everything that they were able to do for me. These guys have made this so much better for my family and for me as a single mother.
