There was no pressure and a very relaxed atmosphere the entire time, when just an hour before I was at a Honda dealership and could feel the pressure to lease a car immediately. You hear the horry stories of dealerships but I don't think John L. Smith has one. I got an amazing car, had an amazing car buying experience, and worked with amazing people. Once it came down to signing everything, Jeff Johnson made it easy to understand and made it fun and funny. Overall it surpassed all of my expectations and again I will never go anywhere else to buy a car. More

Charged for an apparent warranty issue I experienced a air bag sensor problem within the warranty period. I made an appointment for the service department to make the repair letting them kn I experienced a air bag sensor problem within the warranty period. I made an appointment for the service department to make the repair letting them know it was a warranty issue. They never told me that the problem may not be covered under the warranty or even warned me that this could cost for the diagnostic test. The repair was for just under $500. I declined the repair and they charged me $98 for the service. When I contacted the sales representative, I asked if this problem came up within the 1st week of ownership, if they would have made the repair for free. He said no, they would still charge me for the repair. That's surprising since by law I had 3 days to return the car. More
