I purchased a used vehicle from this dealer. My first visit I was told the vehicle I was looking at wad rear wheel drive even though I thought it was front wheel drive. After seeing the vehicle online again I called again to the dealership and they said it was in fact front wheel drive and the sales person did not work at the dealership any more. I went the next out took a test drive and agreed on a cash price. I said I would stop by and at a specfic time the next day and write a check. I showed up at the time and I waited over an hour to sign the paperwork. After that I waited for another 45 minutes for the business manager so I could write a check to the dealership. I was called a few weeks later to verify my ss # so they could send the title. A week later and I have still not received the title. My experience with the dealership was quite painful. The only advantage was I got a good deal on a used car. More

She Listened to my needs in a car, and did a better job communicating w/me than other sales people at any of the other dealerships. Also, i was able to have honest discussions on price; it is amazing how many dealerships will not communicate price; john hinderer was great to deal with. Finally, all of the other sales people were happy to assist me when melissa was not available ( christopher & jonathan). I would definitly buy at john hinderer again. More
Testing driving the van I purchased w/the salesman I made the comment to him "if I paid cash would that help bring the selling price down" His reply"I cant go that low" like I didnt have the cash, which I di the comment to him "if I paid cash would that help bring the selling price down" His reply"I cant go that low" like I didnt have the cash, which I did and did buy the van, I should of turned the van around and went back to the lot and left-how did he know that I couldnt pay cash? The title was to be mailed to me,never did receive it went to title office to get duplicate, sent in a copy of paperwork for duplicate been waiting for 2+ weeks for reimbursement check, have called Finances 3x to settle this matter as of Sat Feb 11 2012 I havent received anything. August of 2011 I purchased 2 Honda Elite Scooters, paid cash for both of them, couldnt get the price dropped any other than what was being offered I tried but no deal. Even tried for maybe throwing in a helmet,no incentives-just a T-shirt. Cash has no weight I take it. Then I turn around in Dec,2011 and buy a van w/cash,did get the price I ask for, kinda, but had to be there for 4hrs to do it-again no incentives. I"m making sure family, friends know about all this-its not right in my opinion More
When contacting the internet department I was not pleased. They took over a week to get pictures of the automobile I was interested in. I finally received the pictures and liked what I saw. I then pleased. They took over a week to get pictures of the automobile I was interested in. I finally received the pictures and liked what I saw. I then went to the dealership and the sales staff made up for the disappointments I had with internet department. I was greeted quickly when I walked in by salesperson Carol Thomas and was on a test drive in approx 20 mins. They were very open to dealing with the price of my trade and price of the car instead of the "take it or leave it" attitude that a lot of dealerships have now. The finance guy(can't remember his name) was also great to deal with and found me the best rate possible for my loan. I am very happy with my Ridgeline and have had no problems. Carol Thomas has been good about following up on the sale and making sure I am happy with my purchase. Carol and the finance guy had a "real" approach. They were very friendly, but not in the "fake friendly" way that most dealerships are today. They just had a real, yet professional approach to me. Carol has not been doing sales very long, but will be successful for a long time with her friendly personality and her approach to sales. Thank you. More

BUYER BEWARE. BEWARE THESE PEOPLE WILL LIE TO YOU, PROMISE THINGS THEY DO NOT DELIVER AND WILL NOT HONOR A SINGLE THING THEY TELL YOU. I WILL NOT PURCHASE ANOTHER CAR FROM THEM NOR WILL I GO BACK T PROMISE THINGS THEY DO NOT DELIVER AND WILL NOT HONOR A SINGLE THING THEY TELL YOU. I WILL NOT PURCHASE ANOTHER CAR FROM THEM NOR WILL I GO BACK THERE FOR SERVICE ON MY CAR. This was our third car purchase from them. WE HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH THEM SINCE, maybe because this one was a used car and not a new one??. First they said that they couldn't give me a loan for the car because of my credit - I took the car to our bank to find out that I couldn't get a loan for the car because they were ASKING MORE FOR IT THAN WHAT IT WAS WORTH and there was NOTHING WRONG WITH OUR CREDIT. When I came back from the bank and gave them THAT information they were more willing to negotiate a better price until I got in the office to sign the loan documents. The loan agent kept trying to add items into the loan that I didn't want. When I got upset and left, the owner, Mr. Hinderer, came out to our car and asked me to come back into his office and he would have the loan office finish the loan with the agreed to terms and he would throw in "free tires for life" (BIG MISTATE - I SHOULD HAVE DROVE OFF AS FAST AS I COULD). Since then, I took the car in for things that should be fixed under the certified car warranty and was always told that the items were not covered. I also took the car in for service everytime it needed service. WELL TODAY when I took the car in for my "free tires for life" I was told I didn't have the tires rotate two of the times it was brought in so I am no longer in their "free tires for life" program. OH, BY THE WAY, I WAITED TWO HOURS FOR THEM TO DECIDE THEY WERE NOT GOING TO REPLACE MY TIRES AND THEN WAITED OVER 35 MINUTES FOR THEM TO COME PICK ME UP SO I COULD GET MY CAR BACK. I ALSO MAKE THE APPOINTMENT TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE - SO WHY DID THEY HAD ME DRIVE OVER 1 HOUR TO THEIR STORE TO BE TOLD THEY WERE NOT GOING TO HONOR THEIR PROMISE. I feel they should have been doing what services were required when I brought the car in or at least telling me it needed to be done. I also feel Mr. Hinderer or some one should have disclose to me that I had to have the tires rotated after every 5000 miles OR IS IT 6000 MILES - because I was given a different amount today - ONE BY THE OWNER AND THE OTHER AMOUNT BY THE SERVICE MANAGER. I was also shown a form that I was attached to the "free tires for life" form that I signed. THIS FORM WAS NEVER GIVEN TO ME - I WAS NEVER INFORMED THAT I NEEDED TO HAVE THE TIRES ROTATES EVERY 6000 MILES. More
I have looked for car for a few weeks now. I found their selection was really good and prices were comparable. The sales staff were easy to work with and helpful. I am really enjoying my new car and would r selection was really good and prices were comparable. The sales staff were easy to work with and helpful. When purchasing a new accord I had the salesman speak with the bank in regard to the payoff amount on my trade-in. A purchase price was established, but when the paperwork was completed they had oversta with the bank in regard to the payoff amount on my trade-in. A purchase price was established, but when the paperwork was completed they had overstated the payoff on my trade by more than 1300 dollars. When I pointed this out they said I would receive a refund from the bank (this made no sense since the extra 1300 when to the dealer). Repeated calls and stops at the dealership did not resolve the problem. I finally called the bank and had the manager speak directly with someone in management at the dealership. The problem was then resolved. I do recommend the service department--they seem to know what they are doing, but like all dealerships are too expensive after the car is out of warranty. Since purchasing the accord from Hinderer I have also purchased a new Honda Fit--at another dealership. I would never consider a purchase from Hinderer again. I am convinced that I would never have seen my 1300 dollars if I had not pursued it relentlessly (by the way, the 1300 that I received as a refund is of course included in my loan and is reflected in my monthly payments). My girlfriend and I went to buy new cars. The salesman (Brent) was pushy but quick to agree to prices. During the test drive, he provided us with incorrect details about the car (horse power is the one I (Brent) was pushy but quick to agree to prices. During the test drive, he provided us with incorrect details about the car (horse power is the one I can remember). When we got to the paperwork, he was asking us to sign documents without seeing final prices. When I did get to see the price, it was no where near the agreed price. After about 3 hours, we left and told them to get back to us when the prices were nearer to what had been discussed. The next day Brent calls my girlfriend's cell phone 4 times and even calls her general office line to get a hold of her. He calls me to tell me that my girlfriend is ignoring his calls. I then explain to him that she does have a job. The salesman was argumentative when I asked him not to call us anymore. At the end of the day, a good offer was made on a car that had sat on the lot for 5 months and we got jerked around for about a week. I had read the reviews on the dealership but had decided to give them a chance because it was local. I would recommend avoiding this dealership. More
