He and I discussed the lack of communication and he brought our newly purchased used car back into his store, gave us a courtesy car and is helping us get it repaired. He has no idea how much this means to me that he listened, cared, and took action. As well as, standing behind the products he sells! Thank You so much! Less than 12 hrs after buying a $15,000 used car from this company my husband I noticed intense exhaust fumes in the vehicle. we called Honda and explain to them what was going on and they were quick to have us bring it in. They looked it over and sent it to the Ford dealer to have their input. after having to track down information because no one got back to us they explain to us there was repairs that need to be made for the water pump and exhaust manifold. They also told us that we were responsible for these repairs. We explained to them that we did not feel that was fair after just spending that kind of money in their establishment. they did nothing to make the situation right there for we had to go pick up the car and take it to other places to get quotes for repairs. Come to find out there is no exhaust manifold it's all contained in the engine and what the problem was was the water pump the vacuum pump and there was a very visible crack in the catalytic converter. So on top of the $15,000 we spent at this company we now have to go out and get $2,000 worth of repairs so the exhaust fumes don't hurt my family. Thanks but no thanks. *** In response to their reply....I was told a service quote was being prepared for me. I asked am I responsible for these charges? And was told "well there is no lemon law in Ohio" When my husband showed up to get the car the next day there was no service quote put together! And we we're told we had to pay for it! Hence the reason I started crying on the phone before I hung up! More

Almost 4 hours for a new coil pack and spark plug! I called to make an appointment to which I was scheduled for 7:30 am. Sounded good but apparently the technicians/mechanics don’t even arrive until 8! I called to make an appointment to which I was scheduled for 7:30 am. Sounded good but apparently the technicians/mechanics don’t even arrive until 8! Wasted half hour before I even got started! Of course I wasn’t told that until toward the end of my experience... When I arrived for my scheduled appointment I asked to get an update when they discovered if there was any issues beyond the coil pack I already knew was a problem. After an hour of waiting and hearing nothing, I went in search of an update. I was told by the guy at the service desk that he hadn’t heard anything but he’d check on my vehicle. After ANOTHER HOUR passed by, I again went in search of an update. Apparently someone was finally test driving it to try to diagnose it...no further information. Another 30 minutes passed before the service representative came in to tell me the issue was not covered by my warranty. I asked why it took so long to diagnose... I’m not an expert but 2.5 hours is terrible. That’s when I was made aware that my appointment time was 30 minutes before anyone would even see the vehicle much less diagnose anything. Then he gave me the speech about checking for underlying issues. I appreciate that it wasn’t just a quick code read and move on, but again, 2.5 hours was ridiculous. Not to mention at this point my vehicle still wasn’t fixed! To sum it up, I was at John Hinderer Honda from 7:30-11:15 am in order to get a coil pack and spark plug replaced. Not once during the process was I offered the shuttle service nor was I given any updates about the vehicles issues or how long it might take to fix. Later they apologized that I didn’t feel like I was a priority. Quite frankly I didn’t feel like I even existed to them! I wish I could say that this was my first bad experience...but almost every oil change I get there takes an hour and a half despite me making an appointment. Customer service and timeliness are clearly not a priority. More

We had a problem with the vehicle after we left. Jason and Kirk have done an excellent job to get it resolved.
